Hello everyone! Today I wanted to show you some of the photos I took during my trip to the Gran Sabana, a region in Venezuela known for being home to the world's highest waterfall and for having the highest concentration of tepuis, a kind of masseta with a peculiar flat top.
Since this was a road trip with friends I decided to explore new things with my photography, I tried the use of direct hard flash, especially its use in broad daylight which I feel gives it a nostalgic vibe, also following the nostalgic theme and taking in consideration this was a road trip with friends, I took inspiration from the family photo albums that our parents used to keep memories of their vacations, trying to take more candid and fun photos
hola a todos! hoy quería mostrarles un poco de las fotos que tome durante mi viaje a la gran sabana una región en Venezuela conocida por ser hogar de la cascada mas alta del mundo, también por tener la mayor concentración de tepuyes, una especie de maseta con una cima especialmente plana, este fue un viaje con amigos así que tome la decisión de explorar nuevas cosas con mi fotografía, hice algo que no había intentado antes, el uso de flash duro directo, sobre todo su uso en pleno día que siento que le da una vibra mucho nostálgica, también siguiendo el tema nostálgico y al ser este un viaje por carretera con amigos, me inspire en los álbumes de fotos que usaban nuestros padres para guardar recuerdos de sus vacaciones, tratando de tomar fotos mas cándidas y divertidas
on this trip, my girlfriend was taking photos in instax mini format and I liked the aesthetics of that print format, also noticed a similarity between the way people use instax mini cameras and the style of photography that I used in this chance, so try to mimic the color scheme these prints use in adobe ligthroom
en este viaje mi novia estuvo tomando fotos en formato instax mini📸 y me gusto mucho las estética de ese formato de impresión y también noté una similitud entre la manera en que se usan las cámaras instax mini y el estilo de fotografía que use en esta oportunidad así que en lightroom trate de imitar el esquema de colores que usan estas impresiones
thanks for make it to this point!🙌 I learned a lot from this experience, including new techniques that I plan to continue using in the future, also trying new things within adobe Lightroom and sharpening my eye to get those candid shots.
