Hello fellow Steemians!

I am starting the week #42 of my 7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge and we are back to the continent of Asia.

If you like to participate, place your personal image from your travels in Asia in the comment section below with a short 30 to 50 word description. Only use of personal images will be accepted and only one picture can be submitted for a daily photo challenge. Ten winning photos will receive a bigger upvote from me and ten runners-up will get a smaller one.

Chosen from the ten winning entries, the absolute winner of the day will receive extended publicity in my post tomorrow morning. I will also visit his/her blog to upvote one of the most recent posts. The winning picture of the daily challenge will then automatically enter other rounds with the absolute winner gaining approximately 200 SBD in total. It doesn't get much more spectacular than seeing the sunset in Dubai from the Burj Khalifa, the tallest building in the world. While I got to spend some time on the 147th floor observation deck, I think this one is from the 125th floor deck which also offers some great views. While I don't expect someone would spend a lot of time here, it's definitely worth seeing on a visit to Dubai.

Those wies from up there sure are spectacular.

#Angkor Wat
The Temple of all temples, the incredible site of Angkor Wat, Cambodia (near Siem Reap. As if you'd be walking through the filmset of Disney's Jungle Book, you will find yourself in ancient ruins inhabited by monkey gangs how are really interested in taking your stuff. And since we are the intruders, one cannot blame them. Cambodia may be one of the poorest countries in the world, but the people I met were the kindliest of all. The less they have, the more they give! Some attitude tourists can learn from.

Angkor Wat, what a master piece!

Well captured, you had a great light. I remember being caught under the monsoon while visiting the temple. It gave me a lot of time to explore the inner architecture :)

^^, yeah right I was lucky. 4 days of sun

Such an amazing shot. So jealous right now. This place is one of the treasures that is on my list to travel to.

Thank you. Those temples don't go anywhere^^

What a fascinating entry. Thank you so much for sharing.

Railay Beach Viewpoint, Thailand

Located near Krabi, Railay Beach is a popular spot for rock climbing. I do some rock climbing myself, but in Railay I went on a different kind of climbing trip when I scrambled up a small trail to reach this beautiful viewpoint - covered in mud.

I have also posted this photo on my blog.

I stayed there in April for around 2 weeks. Amazing place!
Great picture @jpphotography!

Awesome shot. I can't wait to see the rest of your travel photos.

That is absolutely wonderful!

This is an amazing view of twilight in the Mosque which is the Islamic tourism in Aceh, Indonesia. The mosque was named Baiturrahman Great Mosque, located in downtown Banda Aceh.

Every day thousands of local tourists, tourists from various regions, and tourists around the world visit this mosque to see the uniqueness of the building which is one of the witnesses of the tsunami disaster Aceh in December 2004 ago. Tourists can also enjoy the colorful twilight beauty while in the yard of this Mosque, of course when the weather is sunny.

Riding in a hot air balloon is the best way to enjoy the panoramic view of Cappadocia. That one hour flight was the most enjoyable moment in my life. It reminds me of how beautiful this world can be.

What a perfect way to go around:)

Enjoy the natural beauty of the sunset at the beach "Alue Naga" Aceh, Indonesia. The beach is located on the outskirts of Banda Aceh. The beach was once in the waves of the tsunami is a busy place inhabited by the fishermen who live on the beach.

What a tremendous image!

UAE - the country of miracles and one of the most interesting places to visit is Dubai Marina. Beautiful recreation place - water channel surrounded by skyscrapers.
Most fun begins right after sunset when the buildings switching on illumination

Shot on pretty long exposure to freeze the water in the channel

"Lhoknga Beach" A beach face to face with the Indian Ocean, a beach with lots of visitors on weekends.
On this beach, there is also a "Surfing" activity although not much like on the beach "Kuala Cut".
however, many local and foreign tourists who play "Surf" here.
According to the sources I get from residents around.
In the past, the coastal "Lhoknga Beach" is a coast that is always hunted by the tourists, both local and foreign.
it's because it's a very beautiful beach, and the waves on this coast is also world-class.
However, after the 2004 tsunami that hit Aceh, the coast was severely damaged so that local and foreign tourists moved to the "Kuala Cut" coastline, which is only a few meters from the "Lhoknga Beach" or just separated by some of the coastal villagers' houses Lhoknga ".

Warm regards @czechglobalhosts

Thank you so much for your submission and this wonderful image.

Nusa Penia

On our first day on the beautiful Indonesian Nusa Penida we rented a scooter and got totally lost on the island. At the end we ran out of petrol and had to ask some kids in a small village to help us out. But at least we saw some nice landscapes like this one.

Borneo is an amazing place to explore, I remember walking a trek of a National Park till we reached the end of the island, the point we're we would face a cliff and we would not be able to do anymore steps forward... There we were!

Yes, this a famous picture... but reviewing photos from my trip to Thailand, thought It would look great on this Asian Sunday :) This photo was taken in Ayutthaya, a city with an amazing historical park. Among all the temples and structures, this one was one of my favourites:

IMG_1146.JPG

Buddha head in a tree... there are several theories on how the head got entangled in the tree's roots; regardless of the reason, it's a beautiful view! Had to wait a while to take a photo without any tourist, but it was worth it.

Dear friend Tom @czechglobalhosts, here is my entry for Asian Sunday photo challenge:

The photo shows one of the regional cultural art performances that happened to be held in one of the streets in Jakarta, Indonesia.

The show is known as REOG PONOROGO.

Reog Ponorogo is a quite extreme folk dance, originating from Ponorogo, East Java, Indonesia...This dance usually performed in big & holy events and thought to be full with things that are mystical and have strong psychotherapy elements...

Enjoy, my friend Tom...
Have a lovely day...☕❤

With nearly 2.2 million visitors last year, finding solitude at Angkor Wat can be a challenge these days. Although my advice to friends who want to visit the Siem Reap area is to venture further out to the lesser known trafficked sites like Prasat Thom, Bang Maleea, or Phimeanakas, magical moments can still be experienced if you have a little patience. Here I capture a lone monk passing by, at the usually very crowded main temple complex of Angkor Wat.

Hi @czechglobalhosts
This is my entry for this contest

O Quy Ho Pass
O Quy Ho Pass is one of the 4 most famous passes in Northern Vietnam. This pass is the destination of the travelers in their adventure. This pass is in more than 2000 meters comparing to the sea level. It is the connection way between Lai Chau and Lao Cai provinces. It is 50 km long with the tough road, is the challenge for the motor bikers. This photo was taken in Heaven Gate where is the place having the best view of the pass. I took it in the rainy day, with the cloud, fogs, rain, green of tree combining together.
Best,

The habit of some suburban fishermen who are struggling to find catches to survive.
And the area "Gampong Jawa" is also one of the many locations where the fishermen do activities "Tarek Pukat" as well as a favorite place for local residents to enjoy the sunset.

Hi @czechglobalhosts and all Steemian Friends! :)
Enjoy a wonderful sunset at the Thai bazaar! 😊
I took this picture on Phuket Island, in Thailand. It is there where I saw the most beautiful sunsets in my life. The sky can be really red and pink! Palm trees compose perfectly adding the whole exotic character.
In the picture you can see fresh fruit and vegetables, which can be bought here really cheaply! I'm curious if you like it too? Best wishes for all!

good post

You should spend less time going to people's blogs and asking for upvotes on comments and spend more time trying to contribute to the platform. Take the time to read people's posts and make well thought out comments that actually mean something instead of spam comments like this.

Thanks bro for your suggestion and guidance. I have edited my post. But can you guide me how can I grow on steemit ??

I liked your beautiful post, posted a beautiful picture. I love the picture. Thank you. Sir, for giving you such a beautiful picture.

The Hanging Monastery was built 1500 years ago on a cliff side near the city of Datong, China. The structures are supported by beams inserted into holes carved into the cliff as well as the vertical poles you see in the photo.
