Hello fellow steemians!

Your entries need to be submitted by the midnight of Central European Time in order to be considered for the challenge with a description of approximately 30 to 50 words. Only one picture to be submitted for a daily photo challenge. The rule number one is to use only personal images. Ten winning photos will receive an upvote from me from which I will pick one winner that will receive extended publicity in my post tomorrow morning. I will also visit his/her blog to upvote one of the most recent posts.
The winner of the daily challenge then competes against winners from other continental challenges of the respective week to receive the price of 20 SBD. That will be decided by you based on the dollar value of upvotes of my winning post announcement. The winning weekly picture then automatically enters other rounds for the price of 200 SBD in total.
Please see the winner of Asian Sunday, Australian Monday, Tuesday of Antartica and world´s oceans and African Wednesday and give them your support if you like their image to be the one winning the weekly price and entering the other stages of the 7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge. You can vote for them by upvoting their winner announcement posts below:

@jpphotography Asian Sunday entry:
Streets of Bangkok
Bangkok was my last destination before returning home after 18 months of travelling. The busy city that has so many faces was a fascination place to visit. This shot taken from a bridge connecting two of Bangkok's major shopping malls captures the traffic in the large city.
7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge - Australian Monday week #15 - winner announcement!
@mibreit-photo Australian Monday entry:
I love Australia. In 2016 I had the pleasure to travel along Australia's east coast for five weeks and stopped at many wonderful places. This photo here was taken at Fingal Head south of Brisbane. Those interlocking basalt columns look great with the sea rushing around them. Then I was also very lucky with the light that morning. The glowing sky was the icing on the cake.
@bluebottlefilms Tuesday of Antarctica and the world’s oceans entry:
Upon arrival into the Antarctic Peninsula we watched this large iceberg pass by. The beauty of the Antarctic landscape is mind blowing and on every minute of the trip you are overwhelmed by your surroundings.
7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge – African Wednesday week #15 – winner announcement!
@narchuk African Wednesday entry:
Africa is not only sands and palm trees. There are several best dive sites in the world. One of them is located in Sudan. Clear water. A lot of marine life. And huge caves and caverns, where you can see resting sharks.

Arachova is a small mountain town in Western Greece built on the southern slope of Mount Parnassus. The winding cobblestone streets lead up to a town square and bell tower and offer panoramic views of the surrounding areas. While it was great to see the famous sites in Athens, my favorite memories of my one and only visit to Greece came from the charming and beautiful Arachova.
Thank you so much for your submission but I did pick some other images to go further this time due to a high number of participants. Tomas
Wast Water at Sunrise
This is one of my favourite ever landscapes, of a place that really is special to me. My wife and I found it by accident on our honeymoon in 2012, we searched for years after that but couldn't find the lake until this year! (It's in Cumbria, UK!)
What a beautiful spot! And long exposed sky works just perfect here.
What a great capture. Love the long exposure here. And the light is also exquisite
Really love the long exposure effect. Nice shot @skiesandsports
Beautiful and serene. Lovely capture.
Amazing evening at Baltic Sea, not far from Klaipeda, Lithuania. This time LEE filters caught really stunning colors. Stones and waves to make composition more full and interesting and with touch of little long exposure
Enjoy the scenery and a Happy New Year!
https://steemit.com/bescouted/@axeman/baltic-evening
I love this soft contrast between the stones and the silky long exposured waves!
Even a bit of long exposure makes photo quite surrealistic, not to mention really long few minutes exposures )
My entry today is from a hiking trip in the Austrian alps I did two years ago. It's such an elevating feeling to stand on top of a mountain, the more strenuous the ascend the better the feeling of reaching the top. This photo shows the top of the Hochschrutte Mountain during late afternoon. The light was beautiful but the clouds you see in the photo also brought rain. So during the descent I got a bit wet ;-)
The Light is amazing, the place is fantastic! Great shot!
Couldn't agree more @dmytrokorol. That light is incredible.
Wow absolutely astonishing picture. I have no idea how you got that caught this photo but the sunlight makes it stunning.
This is awesome! I think we have the winner :)
Was ein geiles Bild!!!!
I love the soft green in the foreground, the sun flares, and the person staring in the distance.
Feel free to share some Austrian hike advices ... I’m always looking for insider info! And I love a wander in Austria! This photo looks oddly like some views seen in Azoren though .. perculiar world we live in 😘
I recommend you check out the "Drachensee" and the "Sonnenspitze" then. It's a beautiful area in Austria. I'll soon post some photos on my blog here
awesome!! please tag me somewhere when you do (in a comment i fine) -- im really interested, I just had a look on google and looks on point !
Lake Bled, Slovenia
We were lucky enough to go to Lake Bled Slovenia a year ago. We went in November and I can honestly say its the best place we have ever been! Everywhere was so clean and tidy and the views looked like screensavers! We were greeted with one of the most beautiful sunsets we have ever seen! Will never forget it.Autumn mirror
The nature gave us the sunny weather at last couple days of October. We packed in our car and drove to Kromlau to Devil's Bridge. Happily it is just 1,5 hours from our home. I was hoping to get powerful autumn images in such a beautiful place.
https://steemit.com/photography/@dmytrokorol/autumn-mirror
That looks so unreal it's amazing, can't even begin to imagine how still the air must have been.
Please note this picture was taken by me and is not to be stolen
Trolltunga NORWAY
To those of you who have seen this yourselves in person... it should come as no surprise that when this photo was taken my body was broken and legs were shaking from the long and steep climb to the top, with my 25kg rucksack on my back.
Completely worth the hard work, for this pink, 11pm sunset in July.
Norway was one of the hardest and most amazing experiences of my life!
Oh and just for a laugh, here are some behind the scenes photos of the happiness HAHAHAA
The wind the whole night was insane, although my trusty Hilleberg stood the test... but we for sure were NOT happy campers, especially the next day when we walked back through an insane storm that had us holding onto rocks to stay standing!
Great image and interesting background story! The last time we have been visiting Norway I had no courage to trek with the kids to Trolltunga. Now I can think about it as a wise decision ))
Oh its possible without the backpack, but for sure a long and tiresome day. The locals seemed to take it pretty well though! But I would say if you're not living in that environment it's definitely not the best venture for the family HAHA
It says 9km at the bottom, but turns out they measure the vertical distance and not the foot distance, so it was approx 22km each way - A local later explained it to us when we rolled up to camp at around midnight! oh well it was well worth it looking back, but there were certainly some painful arguments along the way. The happy snaps were a thing of the past on the sleepless return trek.
I captured this image when I made a trip to the "Zugspitze", the highest german mountain in the Alps. The lake "Eibsee" beautiful reflects the peaks of the "Wettersteingebirge". You can take a 7 km-walk around the lake right below the Zugspitze.
Oh I am in Germany now!! Apparently not the best for snow (i just googled it) but this will for sure be on my next trip here in the summer :D Thanks for sharing! Feel free to send some more ideal spots, I do love a wander :D
Königssee is also a great location to hike. You should add this to your list ;)
Ahhh yes I have been in that region but for more family based activity, it was certainly lovely! I will look into the hikes now 😁😁👌 thank you!!!! Had to ask when I saw your first photo, really amazing!
EDRO III - Shipwreck in Cyprus
The EDRO III was a cargo ship, built in 1966 in Norway. Due to an accident, were fortunately no crew was lost, EDRO III is now resting off the rocks by the caves in Paphos, Cyprus.
This photo reminds me of home and I hope you like it as much as I do!

ZILLERTAL, AUSTRIA
Over the river and through the woods to grandmothers house. I and my girlfriend traveled to Austria to visit my Grandmother. Along the way we found this look out and I snapped this overlook of Zillertal. In the heart of the Austrian Alps where the Schnapps is locally made and the skiing is breathtaking! Looking forward to the next visit just posting.
Kristiansand Kommuneskog, Norway
Kristiansand was the first town in Norway that I set foot into on my way hitchhiking from Germany to Trondheim (Norway) this summer. You can imagine my surprise when I entered what was called the city park on my map just a few hundred metres from the ferry terminal and found this stunning landscape! Norway is so beautiful everywhere that you really don't need to go far.
I can't believe this place is just called "City Park" it looks like should have been hiking up some crazy hills for hours to get this kind of view.
Norway is amazing, you should really spend 91 days there ;)
It's def. on our list. It looks so amazing!
I took this picture overlooking the city at Notre-Dame de la Garde, Marseille when we visited France one year. We were very lucky that the weather was great so we took the steps on the side and climbed up slowly enjoy the view behind us. Definitely a memorable experience

Slovenia, Lendeva
This picture was taken by me in Slovenia, Lendava. Lendava located in eastern part of Slovenia. It is close to the border crossing with Hungary. Photography is one of my biggest passions in the world and I believe that this picture was the best picture I have ever taken. I was lucky to capture this smooth colors. As I remember I took this picture 3 years ago when I was volunteer worker in Slovenia. I hope you can feel the beauty of the picture.
Good post. You all post better post than each other I become confused to whom I post vote. Your image took at the time of evening. And evening is famous for romance.

Skofja Loka / Slovenia
Here is my choice to join this contest! Skofja Loka is a small town near Ljubljana, the capital city of Slovenia The town is surrounded by amazing green hills. This photo was taken 3 years ago when I was living there, as a volunteer worker. As you can see, it was taken in winter time when the cute town was covered with snow. You can see a small church just below the green areas which are covered by snow. I love the combination of green areas, river and historical churches in old European towns. I hope you will love my choice!
Really beautiful image. I think you accept his challenge to post it.

Almost all cities in the western world are decorated in special way for Christmas. Especially they put light displays. In this photo I show one of the main streets in Barcelona, decorated with a special array of lights for Christmas.

Since it is the day for the color green, I chose some garden picture taken at park Sanssouci in Potsdam, Germany. The perfect place to stroll around and enjoy some superb German garden architecture

Eltz Castle (Burg Eltz) a medieval castle in Germany. Couldn't stop admiring the beauty of this castle. It feels like you are stepping into an enchanting fairy tale. The Eltz family, a 33rd Generation still lives in a part of this castle. There are about a hundred rooms in here. We visited on a cloudy day with frequent showers. But the visit still remained a memorable one!
Perfect framed photo!
Was making up Cinderella stories with my friends daughter yesterday and this is exactly the kind of castle we both imagined!

Somewhere over Iceland
This is my very first submission to the Continents Photo Challenge and I chose to post my first picture in the Europe category, even though Iceland is basically split between Europe and America but I think Europe is the right category. This photo was taking while flying over Iceland with our landlord who was training to become a pilot. Just yesterday I was posting an entire Steemit Article about our favorite 27 aerial shots from Iceland.
Happy to see you submitting your photos to this challenge! I saw your post on your blog yesterday and was stunned by these amazing photos. Everyone should really check it out!
Thank you .. I'm blushing a bit. Words like this from another photographer!!!
No blushing needed, just had a look at your images and they really are worth the praise!
I'M MELTING!!!! STOP!
Nope. It's a New Year resolution of mine to continue to be humble but to also recognise my own talents. And you're very talented......own it!
100% agree :) photos from @for91days will be a great contribution to the challenge :)

No worries, maybe next time. ✌️
Spent a year working in Copenhagen and a visit there is not complete if you've not gone to Nyhavn - originally a busy commercial port but is now dominated by beautiful old houses and classy restaurants. It is especially packed and buzzing with locals and tourists alike during summertime!

No worries Tomas, I'll keep on trying though! :)
The Tower Bridge is another of the symbols of Great Britain, perhaps the most recognizable, and in my opinion, the most beautiful. He conquers with its size and architecture.
In the 19th century, London was a commercial and industrial center. The old ferries no longer cope with the flow of goods and people. So, there was a big bridge made of granite and steel, with two Gothic towers. It is this gothic element that blends harmoniously with the English atmosphere of the city, and is perfectly combined with the nearby Tower.

My today's entry - Piazza dei Miracoli (Square of Miracles) in Pisa, Italy. This town is known all over the world for its Leaning Tower, but the whole Square, where it stands, is magnificent. I was really impressed by Baptistery (the largest Baptistery on Earth , by the way!).

Hi, here’s my entry for European Thursday:
I shot this photo in Chamonix-Mont-Blanc, a lovely French town at the base of Mont Blanc, the highest summit in the Alps.
I saw this beautiful red train standing in a white world when I was hiking in the snow mountains. A pleasant surprise!

This photo comes from a school trip that I took several years ago to Munich, Germany. Pictured here is the famous Marienplatz (also commonly referred to as "Mary's Square", named after St. Mary). We spent quite a bit of time in this square exploring the many wonderful food vendors/shops. I find this looks a lot like a building you'd see in the Harry Potter movies - very cool!

Port de sant Miquel, Ibiza
This shot was taken on my roadtrip around Ibiza. I stopped by the Cova de Can Marçà and had an great opportunity to capture a shot with this big yacht entering the bay.

Storm is coming! I capture this photo during my visit to Split. I was fascinated by the reflection in the sea. Colors are so vivid, it feels like Its painted by some Fauvism artist :)

I love capture star photos, Seeing the stars that our eyes can not show us was always charming for me. I took this picture in my mother's village called caytepe (Ordu/Turkey). It took me about 3 hours to capture these star trails. But it definitely worth it. I will be happy to be part of the contest.

This is a really cool church in Birmingham, United Kingdom. I love the way the old and the new stand side by side in this cool city. Birmingham may not be trendy London, but it has quite a bit of charm!
It looks surreal somehow to me because of that elevated platform in the front. Had to look twice. Very interesting shot.
Definitely interesting!

I am not going to be overly original today I guess, the Guell Park has probably been feautured here many times but the view of Barcelona is just unforgettable. Travel hack: if you make it to the park before 9 am, you dont have to pay the entrance fee ;) Or at least this is how it worked in April 2016 when I was there...

Here is the Slovak National Theater in 2006. Apparently this is the "old" one in downtown Bratislava. There is now a new one called SNT but I haven't seen it yet. This one was built in 1885.

Porto, Portugal
This photography was taken about one year ago when I was on school education in Portugal. I love this picture because it was taken from the bird's perspective. This is the view on the river Douro which found it's way through the town of Porto.
I hope you will like my entry for your challenge :D

Amazing and scary at the same time huge cloud located itself over Es Castell in Menorca. The nature creates unbelievable views and it is worth to bring a camera with you as may times as possible. You never know what you can see next moment.

Europe is densely populated, but there are still places of wild nature. In the forests of Belarus you can see even a European bison. Although they were exterminated almost a hundred years ago. And in the world there were only a couple dozens of individuals.

Taken in the town of Zermatt on the south of Switzerland. In a town of all electric vehicles with the Matterhorn as the backdrop. It was a beautiful town with vast natural beauty located in the middle of a valley surrounded by 4000 meter peaks.

Once again @czechglobalhosts thanks so much for curating the contest. It's the best community I've found for connecting with like-minded Steemians.
My entry for the Thursday Europe contest is an Emperor Dragonfly taken in Bristol, UK.
It never feels like summer lasts for long in the UK but for a few weeks each year female dragonflies can be found buzzing around looking for places to lay their eggs. I sat and photographed this one for almost an hour as she hopped from place to place.

Totally understand Tomas, but I'm still loving taking part and connecting with other photographers. You're providing my favourite space on Steemit by far, thanks for all the hard work.
I post a picture a little bit different today. We can say that it's a temporary monument in Europe and more precisely in Boom, Belgium during Tomorrowland 2017. Due to its size, I think it can compete with other classic monuments :p

Skiing in Oberstdorf - a bavarian town
During my days at the university we went skiing with a group of friends every year. This is an image of our trip to Oberstdorf. A little german down in the most southern part, directly at the boarder to Austria. 5 out of 7 days we had heavy snow falls almost all day long. Happy that I have a couple of images with "some tiny blue spots at the top" 😜

The Alp Mountains, Mount Grintovec, northern Slovenia. Grintovec is 2558 metres high. It takes aproximetly 3 hours to reach from the Cojz mountain house. We had some clouds bellow and we enjoyed this view. It almost looks like in heaven.
Spain. Sevilla.
Visiting Sevilla was my dream. The central square of the city - the Plaza of Spain - is one of the most beautiful places in the city, and possibly in all of Spain.
Here is one of my favorite beaches of the island of Mallorca. The island is full of hidden gems like this one which is off the beaten path but well worth the walk. Perfect for a day of sunbathing and drinking sangria.
