This man is carrying a basket full of bricks in his head. The bricks arrived by boats and are carried to the construction site by a few men walking with these basket on their head. It takes a lot of skills to do the same. Location: Dhaka, Bangladesh.

@mibreit-photo Australian Monday entry:
Wharariki Beach near Farewell Spit in the upper north of New Zealand's South Island is a spectacular location. You have dunes, sea stacks, caves and a beautiful countryside. It's a bit of a drive up there but totally worth it. A caravan park is just 1km walking distance from the beach.

@marc-allaria Tuesday of Antarctica and World´s Oceans entry:
I will soon share an article on this extraordinary meeting made in Maratua Island, still in Borneo. Certainly one of the most important memories in my adventure of diver as much for the meeting with this wall of barracudas as for the very particular diving strategy in a very hectic pass exit. In the meantime I propose this photograph for the photo contest @czechglobalhosts Tuesday - Antarctica + the world's oceans.

7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge – African Wednesday week #31 – winner announcement!
@fjorenca African Wednesday entry:
I have posted before about the White Desert of Egypt. Not too far from that, near the Bahariya Oasis, you can find the contrasting Black Desert of Egypt with its glorious black topped golden mountains popping out of nowhere. The area owes this appearance to ancient volcanoes and the presence of abundant iron ore. I climbed to the top of one of these charcoal peaks to get this incredible view. Doesn't it look like it belongs to another planet?

There is some spectacular classic European architecture in Antwerp, Belgium. And while I was on a promenade admiring some buildings, I wisely turned around and saw another view I loved. Antwerp is located on the River Scheldt and the Port of Antwerp is the second largest in Europe. What you can't see in the photo is the incredibly chilly wind I felt standing here, but it was totally worth it!
Colorful sunset over the Grebastica Bay in Croatia. Grebastica is a little coastal village located some 15 km outside Sibenik, beautiful historic town located in Central Dalmatia. Sibenik is the oldest native Croatian town on the shores of the Adriatic Sea.
Wonderful sunset and beautiful image. Looks great!
Another picture from the beautiful town of Hallstatt. It is such a beautiful town, especially after a storm, where low laying clouds covers the mountain side. This lookout is right on the edge of the town, on the other side of wharf. This view is what usually feature in a Hallstatt Postcard and it's not hard to see why.
All your photos of Hallstatt are pretty amazing!
Thanks!
This is great. I can see why this is usually made into a post card. Awesome job.
I am very happy to see another entry from there. Amazing place, amazing image! Thank you so much for sharing. Tomas
Thanks Tomas! I hope to share more photos from Hallstatt with you in the future
This is the Almendres megalithic settlement, also known as The Almendres Cromlech. It's located on the outskirts of the city of Évora, in the Alentejo region (southern Portugal). It is the biggest megalithic monument in the Iberian Peninsula and one of the oldest in the world... 2000 years older than the better-known Stonehenge! It's a mystical place that has survived thousands of years throughout our history as human beings!
What an interesting place and a beautiful image! Great job. Tomas
Thanks mate :)
When thinking of Europe, I think of old medieval castles and cathedrals. One of the most magical places in Europe is Mont Saint Michel. A large cathedral that sits on a flood plain in Northern France.
Truly magnificent place and a wonderful image. Thank you kindly.
thank you
Together with Segovia and Avila, Toledo is one of three amazing, historical cities that you can reach very fast and easily from Madrid by train, within a day trip. The old town, that was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1986 for its extensive monumental and cultural heritage, is located on top of a hill, surrounded on three sides by a bend in the Tagus River.
This is such a cool shot. Amazingly done.
Thank you! 🙂
Truly spectacular!
Thanks a lot! 🙂
Often during the road trips, I don't have the perfect conditions for shooting. But I don't mind to take the photos in daylight on an interesting spot, because I don't know where I will be during the sunrise or sunset. Sometimes I don't have much time or possibility to search for the best position and just shoot from the road. And sometimes I just got lucky, like in this case on the road along Lovrafjorden in Norway.

Hey this looks familiar. Awesome shot. I want to live in that house on the island. Then I wouldn't have to deal with any neighbors and I can play my music as loud as I wanted to and it would echo through the whole lake. It would be awesome.
Yeah ) I finally realized what I want from this shot with the help of photogamers. It looks like a nice place to live for me too (at least some time).
Well, looks like you had a perfect conditions here since the image is just that:).... This is a wonderful place to cruise through!
Thanks Tomas!
Early morning colours over the Ardèche landscape. Sitting on my balcony I watch the sun rising in the sky, being the witness of this magnificent time of the day during which the sky burns of thousand colours.
Location: Ardèche river, France.
What a view and place to wake up to:)... Enjoy while you can.
The Bessegen ridge trail is one of Norway's most beautiful hikes. The hike is part of a larger trek in Jotunheimen National Park, but since I was lacking a warm sleeping bag, this would not have been an option, so my friend whom I was travelling with and I decided to do only the most popular part, the Besseggen ridge trail itself which can be done in one day. The trek is one-way and connected by ferry to Gjendesheim, a small stop for tourists entering the national park where we hitchhiked to. However, since we had slept in and missed the early-morning ferry to the start of the trek, we decided to start walking in Gjendesheim and catch the ferry back. We just made it back in time for the last ferry!
Awesome shot.
Stunning! Thank you so much for your contribution.
The "Kaiserstuhl" is the place with the most sunshine hours in Germany and therefore the perfect place to grow wine. It is located in the south near the border to France and the Suisse. It is a very beautiful area with small towns and soft green hills. It is a popular place to hike in the vineyards and to taste the local gastronomic specialities with a glass of wine.
Beautiful greenery and fabulous image. Thank you so much for your contribution. Tomas
Stormy but still colourful sunset at Baltic Sea, Lithuania. Pretty dark atmosphere and the gates to the burning hell... reminds even an volcano and flowing lava due a bit of long exposure effect
Enjoy the scenery!

Tremendous image!
The Turkish bath in Catherine Palace, Pushkin, Russia. The place is scattered with interesting buildings and bridges. If the weather is good one can spend the whole day taking pictures. I was lucky having a sunny warm weather at the beginning of June 2017.
Bergen is the second largest city in Norway on the southwestern coast. It's known for the lively historic harbor, and is surrounded by beautiful mountains and fjords, including the country’s longest and deepest one - Sognefjord. A local friend took me to hike through some green woods with troll sculptures, and we climbed to a hilltop where I took this picture overlooking the sea.
I'm going to see if i can find a pic worthy of this contest lol ! :)
really you going this place ??
if you visit this place then you share your photo with us :p
Chania in Crete, Greece is a city with long history where visitors can see Venetian, Ottoman and Neoclassical structures standing, as a reminder of the numerous civilizations that has settled there in the past. No wonder why it is called Venice of the East!
This is a shot of the Venetian port during the dusk!
The perfect time for a walk from the waterfront restaurants to the Venetian lighthouse that looks like a minaret!
Beautiful shot. The colors of the sky and water are amazing and the reflection is awesome. Great job @fotostef.
Thanks a lot!
That looks just amazing. Thank you for sharing with all of us here on Steemit.
The pleasure is all mine :)
The Netherlands boasts 22,000 miles of cycle paths with more than a quarter of all trips in the country being made by bicycle, rising to 38% in Amsterdam itself. This compares with just 2% in the UK and much less in the USA.

Road to Taganana, which is located in Tenerife, Canary islands is one of the most amazing roads in the world! We came to this place to skate it all the way down, from top of the mountains, down to the beach. Conditions for flying my drone were excelent, so I did not waited and captured this shot with last sun beams of the day :) (pozn. Tenerife are under Spain, so it should count as a europe right? :D)
I took this amazing photo while hiking around the beautiful town of Zermatt in the south of Switzerland. This town is home to the famous Matterhorn which is the lone standing mountain in the photo. I actually took this picture after running down a ski run as the trolley to take us down closed before we got there and had to hike all the way back down.
This is how the Cathedral of St. Basil is seen in the day, this is an Orthodox temple located on the Red Square in the city of Moscow, Russia. It is world famous for its bulbous domes. Despite what is popularly thought, the Cathedral of St. Basil is neither the seat of the Orthodox Patriarch of Moscow, nor the main cathedral of the Russian capital, but it is still one of the most visited by all tourists, and It is very important to know this place if you visit Russia, since Moscow is a political, scientific, historical, architectural and commercial place in this great country.
Not far from Nice in France is this Mediterranean coastal jewel - Eze Village, Cote d'Azur. This place transports you to the Medieval times while walking up the uneven stone streets through narrow passages and under low archways. The breathtaking view from the mountain of the hills, covered with cacti, sculptures and the Mediterranean area is nothing less than heaven.
Can i win the contest with this shot !!!!
Well, this shot was taken during my visit to Vienna, Austria. I first visited the schönbrunn palace, then had a stroll in the city: then to the roller coaster.
Even though i do not speak German, the Austrian German was soothening. A beautiful Vienna, awesome Austria, Nice people, a great Country
Chillon Castle, located on a rock on the shores of Lake Geneva, is one of the most visited historical buildings in Switzerland. For almost four centuries it was the residence of the Counts of Savoy and a lucrative customs post.
Durdle door holiday park located near London is a great tourist destination with both beatiful scenary and great food. Had crab meat there and was wonderful.
In this photo you can see the Barcelona Cathedral, built between the XII and XV centuries in Gothic style. In the foreground of the image people practicing the Catalonian typical dance known as sardana. This dance is very popular in Catalonia.
This is Fjaðrárgljúfur, a big canyon located in the south of Iceland, more than 2 million years old. It is mesmerizing what nature is capable of creating. I recommend visiting Iceland in March, thats when you have a good chance of seeing polar lights.
A couple of days ago I was walking over the bridge of Tromso and in the distance I saw a ship nearing quite fast. I started running to the middle of the bridge to be on time to take this shot. I was surprised with the result and really happy that I decided to run for it. The ship passed a couple of seconds after I took the shot.
Leuven, Belgium
Last year, my passion for traveling allowed me to discover Leuven. This beautiful and dynamic city immediately conquered me. Not only for its splendid Gothic town hall, its university library and the unmissable M museum, not to mention the hyper-friendly cafes that punctuate this student city.
Leuven also seduced me by its colossal offer of nice activities, organized throughout the year.
Here is my entry. This is Venice, a beautiful city with lots of canals, there is no roads, just a few narrow streets . Venice is built on more than 100 small islands. It’s very popular among tourists because of that.
I was going to post a photo of the Town of Segovia, Spain but I realized mine looks the same as any other google images that pop up. Sooo, here is the view from the same vantage point atop the Alcázar Fortress, but instead of looking out at the city, I looked down. Quite the drop!
The first mention of this castle was in 1122, so it was more than likely built some time in the early 1100's.
Reminds me of Assassins Creed.
Whose shoes are these?
I took this photo when I climbed the hill to watch the beautiful sunset in Athens. I think they might be left by a careless dove.
This is a cool shot. The massive city behind a lone tree with shoes. Awesome concept.
Thank you 😊
Fountain
This was taken of a fountain at the Vatican Museum. I love walking the grounds of the museum. There are beautiful sculptures in various courtyards that are truly amazing. Definitely a must if you are ever in Rome.

This is the view from the castle of San Jorge in Lisbon, Portugal. This castle is on the high hill of the historic center, providing visitors with one of the most beautiful views over the city where you can see all the houses with the uniformity of red tiles very characteristic of the site and you can also see the river estuary "Tajo".
High Tatra Mountains are a mountain range along the border of northern Slovakia and southern Poland. When we say High Tatras, we mean majestic peaks touching to the sky, unique plants and rare animals like chamois or marmot. High Tatra mountains are well know for expectionally clear air and environment great for healing respiratory conditions. This photo was taken from the top of trees (known as Treetop walk), that you can find in Bachledova Valley. There you can see the unique nature of the High Tatras. Worth to see!
The magic of Zaanse Schans, with its canals, bridges and very picturesque houses that look like works of ancient arts. One thing that nobody can miss if you visit Amsterdam are the nearby towns that surround the city .. This village is Zaanse Schans, or the town of the smell of chocolate and cheese, divine its aromas. It's a pity that when I went, it was not the season of the tulips,

Amazing view of bridge in Istanbul. This is the area called “Ortaköy” settled under the bridge. People all over the world come here to enjoy this view. It is being very crowded 4 seasons. The lights of bridge are changeable. I made a panaromic shot.
@czechglobalhosts We travel, some of us forever, to seek other places, other lives, other souls.
This is wonderful travel photography you share & thanks to share this content with us.
This is the one of the most beautiful views in the Montenegro in city Petrovac. I was shoot this photo from the very sharp hill, is was a little bit dangerous but it worth it.
Hi. This is my entry for this contest.
Toulouse, the city of pink in panorama
Toulouse is the 4th biggest city in France. It is the city of student. There are many foreign students in here, of course, there are many good universities on top of Europe located in Toulouse. In tourism, Toulouse has a name: "The city of pink", its name is so romantic. The first time I heard that name, I am so curious. That's why I decided to travel here. This photo was taken in the river of Garonne - the longest and most famous river of Toulouse. It also helped to explain the nickname of this city. Because at the sunset, the whole city is covered by the pink of light, it makes the bricks, the rock in the roads, the wall of the houses, etc become pinker. Everything look so cool and peaceful at this time. It is the very good destination for you guys to discover Europe.
Best,
Burgh Haamstede, The Netherlands. This photo is taken from the dunes. As you can see it is low tide, the sea is far away.
The marram gras on the dunes, helps to stabilize the dunes. The dunes protect our country from the sea. So good for protection but also good for a nice picture.
The Attersee of Austria. This is my entry for the European Thursday.
I took this photo during my last trip to the Attersee. We explored the mountains around the Attersee almost everyday. The view from the mountains around the lake was sometimes just breathtaking.
The Attersee is located at the Salzkammergut region and is one of the largest lakes in the Austrian state of Upper Austria.

Panorama view of the famous Marienplatz in the heart of Munich, Germany. Taken from the top of the St. Peter Catholic Church, also at the Marienplatz. For full screen click on the pic!
A breathtaking light show turns the Kunsthistorisches Museum (KHM) Vienna into a magical canvas of light & colors. For several hours patterns, pictures and animations fly over the historical architecture imagining and reimagining it's surface again and again. Magnificent!
Atlantic Road in Norway is famous because is connecting many small islands and there is very interesting bridge. I decided with me friend to walk all this road but it's not prepared for pedestrians and it was even a little bit dangerous to walk over the bridge.
for this challenge i have this Photo , its from some park with an amazing View on the Great Rome capital of Italy.
Rome is known as the Eternal City because of the belief that no matter what happened to or in the city, Rome would continue to thrive.
