The endless greenery, the hills with sheep flocks, the strong mountain air, the silence that is only broken by the sound of the tangle and the birds are addictive. At Magura, in Braşov County, I found a landscape broken from the paintings, where each patch of earth seems to be carefully placed in its place with a handsome hand.
Although I have visited the area of Brasov several times, I have never reached Magura or Şimon, but I have heard only beautiful things. I convinced myself on a recent visit to a photography workshop at the RGB Photography course that made me see the world with other eyes. That's what I'm going to tell you on another occasion, now I want to share with you some pictures of Shimon and Magura.
Both are located in Braşov county and are great ideas for a weekend or a holiday, whether summer or winter. Şimon is a village in the commune of Bran, between Bran and Moieciu. It is quieter and less populated by tourists than its neighbors - and I hope so stay! I stayed at Dor de Munte Boarding House and I ate at Pension Brandeberg, which I strongly recommend. At first we found large, clean and quiet rooms at good prices, and at the second, a bit stiffer and always full, we ate very well.
From Şimon we climbed, first by car, then on foot down to the Bran Castle and we arrived at a wonderful place with fantastic pictures and overlooking Piatra Craiului, Bucegi, Postăvarul and Magura Codlei. I think we have reached without exaggeration in the most beautiful period of the year, because I have never had the chance to see the green spring stretching tens of kilometers of hills and valleys, blooming trees and sunshine, from dawn to late, late . It was a good idea we take the bikes !
The next day I left the Bran and I went to Zarnesti, where we came to Magura: the place where I found Heaven on Earth, the village from which you never want to leave again and where time seems to have stayed in place. Magura is very close to Bran, 35 km away from Braşov, in Piatra Craiului National Park and, because it is climbing at an altitude of over 1000 m, seems to be broken by the surrounding world, away from the urban agitation.
Magura can be reached by car, on an unpaved road with serpentine, from Zarnesti to Gura Râului - Botorog Fountain. Because we only stayed for a few hours, we walked up a little on the mountain and got drunk green, I can not recommend accommodation, but I've seen some guesthouses. I have heard that people are welcoming and great food, so there are plenty of reasons to go to Magura. You must also take your bicycles!
Thanks for visit 😉

Nice place photography.............friend dan
It's pictures like these that triggers my wanderlust. It definitely is a place where time stand still. Free from the towering city buildings and just you with mother nature's works. Pictures like these and a little imagination are enough to cause some minor stress relief.

That looks so nice the very first photo is absolutely stunning!!i also really like the photo with the rainbow:) it always add a little magic touch.
Those truly are some amazing pictures and it seemed you arrived at just the right time. That is something to be able to catch a full rainbow over the hills. What country is that in? I'm guessing Italy but I may be well off. Did you use any filter on any of your photos? The coloring on the last few pictures almost seems surreal. Thanks for sharing!
You hit the nail on the head there- your stunning photography has given me itchy feet. It's a rainy Friday morning here, and I'm perusing your post during my morning coffee break - and I feel like I want to escape head-long into your photos. That second one with the rainbow made me sigh so loudly, I wanted to walk straight into the frame and not come back!
Absolutely beautiful photography - and thank you for the mini-break in my head ;)

These pictures make me wonder how life was here 100 years back in time. And I can imagine the scenery being the same as it is now ... I can imagine horses here. Oh I can imagine so much here. But most of all, I just want to go here en enjoy the nature.
Beautiful photo's and I especially love the rainbow here. It's almost magical!
Such awesome photography! Makes me want to go there and be one with the fabulous nature there!
Wow... What a magical place! And the photos are stunning! Thanks for sharing!
What absolutely stunning nature photography! Magura is going on my list!
Thank you so much for sharing such a wonderful place and such incredible photographs with us here on the Steem blockchain!
Im glad you like it ,thanks 😊
Magura is a nice place. The green plane, with simple geography curves, with houses spread evenly, looks nice altogether.
The nice planes on hills, circled by a rainbow all bring a good feeling.
The images actually get better when it's a little beat dark, and the tree shadows spread over.
