Whale sharks Philippines

in #travel6 years ago

Diving, Snorkeling - super low Budget,
Close to Cebu, one of the largest cities on the Philippines, something weird is happening every day:
Every morning betweem 7 and 11AM a herd of whale sharks come to feed on what fishermen are feeding them.
Domesticated/ still wild ?? Who am I to judge... An experience beyond imagination: See for yourself:

So cool! New kind of pets? 😅

Thanks, it would be nice to have them around all the time

We are going to The Philippines next january. We want to go diving on two islands. We also want to go to Oslob for the whalesharks. Unless it does not feel right, I still want to see the whalesharks.

Great pictures by the way

It is worth the experience! Except for the "possible" domestication... but let's be honest. TOurists shouldn't be judging any "un-natural" behaviour^^

thanks for the comment
