Beaches are deposits of unconsolidated sediments that vary between sand and gravel, and extend from the base of the dune or the limit where vegetation ends to a depth where the sediments no longer move. These places, more than visual pleasure, provoke a feeling of relaxation and tranquility. They are perfect places to go on vacation or escape from routine.
These are some of the beaches that I consider most impressive.
Los Roques - Venezuela.
Located 176 km north of the city of Caracas, this group of islands is one of the most beautiful tourist attractions of Venezuela.
It has an approximate surface area of 221,120 hectares between maritime and terrestrial spaces, and is considered the largest marine park in Latin America (Parque nacional Archipiélago de Los Roques).
The Archipiélago Los Roques is one of the few places in the Caribbean Sea that has an atoll structure.
Bora Bora - French Polynesia.
It is found in the so-called "Islands of the Society", which are part of French Polynesia.
Bora-Bora is formed by an extinct volcano, surrounded by a lagoon and a strip of reef.
The main island has 3 open bays over the lagoon: Faanui Bay, Tuuraapuo Bay or Povai Bay to the west, and Hitia Bay to the northwest.
The Bay of Tuuraapuo separates the main island from two islets of volcanic nature: Toopua y Toopua-iti. One of the main attractions of Bora-Bora is swimming with sharks and rays.
La Digue - Seychelles.
It is located in the Indian Ocean, front to East Africa.
With a population of about 2000 people, La Digue is the fourth largest inhabited island in Seychelles.
La Digue owes its name to a ship of the fleet of the French explorer Marc-Joseph Marion du Fresne, who visited the Seychelles in 1768.
Benagil algar - Portugal.
The Benagil Beach rises at the bottom of a deep valley and is located near the fishing port of Benagil, in Lagoa.
This hidden beach area is a cave that has been created naturally thanks to the erosion of the sea when it hit the rocky cliffs for years and years.
The result is a kind of beach inside a cave, where there is only a little bit of sun in the early hours of the day, when the sun sets on top of the oculus at the top, an oculus that also has created naturally thanks to the shock of water.
Sarakiniko Beach - Greece.
Located on the Island of Milo, this beach is often compared to a lunar landscape due to its particular appearance.
Sarakiniko, formerly known as Pirate Sarakin, it is considered one of the most beautiful beaches of Milos.
This beach not only surprises us with its lunar rocks: just one kilometer from Sarakiniko you can find the famous "sunken ship of Milos".
It is important to note that on this island the famous statue of Aphrodite, known as the "Venus de Milos" was discovered, today is on display at the British Museum .
I hope you liked it
