My @steemit family! I'm so sorry for my absence!
All I can really say to explain myself is that after our road trip (which I'll share over the next while), it took me way to longer than I expected to get back into the swing of things... back into our routine. Then add in appointments, projects, work... sigh. But I'm here now!
First, our road trip was incredible. Truly, such a great time away from the busy day to day life. I was so sad though to not be able to use @steepshot like I wanted. We were constantly out of wifi areas & it was just not working. I kept trying & at some point I just decided, screw it. I wanted to be present with my family & not be stressing about my phone wifi all the time. I also had no time to pull out the laptop to get on here to blog about our travels, so I really didn't even need to haul that thing around but oh well.
I feel like we used up every minute possible on our trip. I truly feel like there was no wasted time & that is a big reason why we planned everything out so much! I tend to like things more relaxed & there were definitely days that were more chill, but because my family is all in BC, time is valuable as I don't get to see them much.
At first I wasn't sure how I wanted to share about our travels, so I figured I would split it up into places we stopped just to keep it "organized." (?!) We will see how that plays out. We were gone for about two weeks & we stopped in many places so I didn't feel like it could all go in one solitary post.
Soooooo happy to be back here with you, sharing, voting, chatting & I look forward to blogging about our travels!
