I'm so excited to participate in the Miss Jetset competition. It's been fun and I've learned more than I expected about the true origin of confidence and what it means to believe in yourself. I've also learned a lot about raising my standards-raising the value of what I feel I'm worth. The internal dialogue in my mind has enhanced throughout this process. Growth is what I really want and that's what I'm getting.
Some people feel where I'm coming from when I say:
"You have to do something that scares you everyday"
Some people say that nothing scares them. To that I say, I think you might be living in your comfort zone.
If you don't make yourself uncomfortable on a regular basis (for positive reasons), it seems that life will do it for you. Either grow on your own or life will force you to grow and sometimes that's not pretty at all and it's painful. So I find what I'm afraid of and I lean in. Oh and I forgot to mention giving way less of a fuck what other people think.
You can care about a person as a human being without letting THEIR thoughts OVERRIDE your own. I've learned to consider what others think while also giving respect and value to what I think too. I don't have a guru.
So with that being said, I truly hope you're enjoying your 2020 and doing things that excite you and make you feel alive. Have fun. Love people. Have new experiences. Do things that thrill and scare you. Make your universe a fantastic one and never dim your light for others.
