Lisbon is a beautiful and charming city that captivated me from the moment I arrived. My trip to this Portuguese city was an unforgettable experience full of exciting discoveries and breathtaking views. This trip was pure chance because I remember I was in Madrid visiting some friends and they told me that they were going to Lisbon on Friday for 4 days for a wedding but then they were staying to visit a little bit. So I got a ticket and went the day before to the same RBNB that the guys were going to, but I took advantage and went the day before.
One of the things I liked most about Lisbon was its unique and colorful architecture. The old buildings with their ornate balconies and cobblestone streets create a charming atmosphere throughout the city. I loved walking the streets and marveling at the beauty of the tiles that decorate many of the buildings.
One of the areas I most enjoyed exploring was the Alfama neighborhood, known for its narrow streets and quaint atmosphere. I felt like I was stepping back in time as I walked through its labyrinthine streets and admired the brightly colored facades.
Another place that left an impression on me was Rossio Square, with its majestic fountain and historic buildings. I loved sitting on a bench and watching people walk by while enjoying the lively atmosphere of the square.
I can't talk about Lisbon without mentioning the impressive Belém Tower, which stands majestically over the Tagus River. It was amazing to see this architectural masterpiece up close and learn about its fascinating history. I think Lisbon has an old city and a more modern one.
In addition to its stunning architecture, Lisbon also has an incredible cultural offering. I had the opportunity to visit several museums and art galleries, where I was able to learn more about the history and culture of Portugal. The people there treated us very well and were very hospitable memories. I remember one of those days we ran into some friends of the boys who were also at the wedding and we went for a tour of the city. They already knew so they gave us a mini tour of the best places according to them as if they were the great hosts of this city.
But what I liked most about Lisbon was the friendly and welcoming people. They were always willing to help and share their recommendations on what to see and do in the city. I felt at home from day one and am looking forward to returning soon to continue exploring all that Lisbon has to offer.

Lisboa es una ciudad hermosa y encantadora que me cautivó desde el momento en que llegué. Mi viaje a esta ciudad portuguesa fue una experiencia inolvidable llena de descubrimientos emocionantes y vistas impresionantes. Este viaje fue pura casualidad porque recuerdo que estaba en Madrid visitando unos amigos y me cuentan que se estaban yendo el viernes a Lisboa por 4 días a un casamiento pero después se quedaban para visitar un poquito. Entonces me saqué un pasaje y me fui un día antes al mismo RBNB que los chicos iban, pero aproveche y me fui un día antes.
Una de las cosas que más me gustaron de Lisboa fue su arquitectura única y colorida. Los edificios antiguos con sus balcones adornados y las calles empedradas crean una atmósfera encantadora en toda la ciudad. Me encantaba pasear por las calles y maravillarme con la belleza de los azulejos que decoran muchos de los edificios.
Una de las zonas que más disfruté explorar fue el barrio de Alfama, conocido por sus estrechas calles y su ambiente pintoresco. Me sentí como si estuviera retrocediendo en el tiempo mientras caminaba por sus laberínticas calles y admiraba las fachadas de colores brillantes.
Otro lugar que me dejó impresionado fue la plaza del Rossio, con su majestuosa fuente y sus edificios históricos. Me encantaba sentarme en un banco y observar a la gente pasar mientras disfrutaba del ambiente animado de la plaza.
No puedo hablar de Lisboa sin mencionar la impresionante Torre de Belém, que se alza majestuosamente sobre el río Tajo. Fue increíble ver de cerca esta obra maestra de la arquitectura y aprender sobre su historia fascinante. Creo que Lisboa tiene una ciudad antigua y una más moderna.
Además de su arquitectura impresionante, Lisboa también tiene una oferta cultural increíble. Tuve la oportunidad de visitar varios museos y galerías de arte, donde pude aprender más sobre la historia y la cultura de Portugal. La gente allí nos trató muy bien y fueron recuerdos muy hospitalarios. Me acuerdo uno de esos dias alli estuve nos topamos con unos amigos de los chicos que estuvieron en el casamiento tambien y nos fuimos a recorrer por la ciudad. Ellos ya conocían así que nos hicieron un mini tour por los mejores lugares según ellos como si fueran los grandes anfitriones de esta ciudad.
Pero lo que más me gustó de Lisboa fue su gente amable y acogedora. Siempre estaban dispuestos a ayudar y compartir sus recomendaciones sobre qué ver y hacer en la ciudad. Me sentí como en casa desde el primer día y estoy deseando volver pronto para seguir explorando todo lo que Lisboa tiene para ofrecer.
