Traveling to: Milna

G'day or G'evening

This summer we headed to Croatia for our summer vacation - a place that many of my friends and colleagues are recommending.

Luckily there are a few direct flights from HEL to SPU so we could select good dates and get back home before my son's school started.

At the Split airport:

You have a very convenient shuttle bus from the airport to Split harbour/bus station - 5€ per person - takes about 30 mins.

A quick note here though - you are now allowed to pay for the trip in the bus. But if you are heading back from the bus station to the airport, get tickets in advance!

On the other side of the street from the bus station, you can buy the ferry tickets - for us the next stop was Supetar, on the island of Brac.

For us the color of the Mediterranean see is wonderful!

Then it was time for the next ticket counter - now bus tickets to Milna.

And we finally arrived to Milna, the fishermen's village

We started from home about 05:00 in the morning, and arrived to Milna about 14:00 - not that bad considering we were commuting the whole way.

Thank you @melinda010100!

  • there might be a pic or two more coming :)

I maybe did guess that!😃

You made a very accurate description of your trip to Milna. If I decide to visit Croatia I will certainly use the information. Thank you! I like your photos ... I want the sea!

Thanks a lot @bluemoon!

  • even though we also live close to the sea over here in Finland - the blue colors here are gorgeous!

With pleasure!
