On February 27th I made a visit with great emotion to an impressive house that today is a museum, built on a granite slab that still retains a colonial style, surrounded by a wooded garden.
Declared National Historical Monument on March 21st, 1968; located in Ciudad Bolívar-Bolívar State-Venezuela, Táchira Avenue with July 5 Street, house #10; where the powers of the Third Republic were made after the liberation of Guayana in 1819.
In this majestic house the Liberator Simón Bolívar lodged, it was there where he wrote the great speech with which he inaugurated the Angostura Congress in 1819.

which marked an extremely important event in my land and in Venezuela as such.
Currently the house has the name "San Isidro Museum House", it was part of a farm where the coffee of Mr. Don José Luis Cornieles was cultivated, who was a friend of Simón Bolívar; previously, they say it was also known as Morichal of San Isidro. The house of Tamarindo and La Lajita.
Through the years the house passed through several tenants and owners; the farm was proclaimed as part of the cultural patrimony of the Bolivar State; the farm was named Museum of Talavera as a tribute to Doctor Mariano de Talavera y Garcés, who was a Bishop of Tricala de Guayana.
I show you, through a photographic tour, the inside of the house; it was difficult to get images since you cannot use flash to avoid damaging the paintings.
It is visited daily by many tourists; it has guides, collaborating students and employees of the Ministry of Culture of the Government of Bolívar State.
