Visiting beautiful Amsterdam!

in #travel7 years ago

Amsterdam has so much history and a personality that is uniquely Holland.  From Tulips to old world architecture in every building, and so much to see.  "Let's Go!"

Tulips are everywhere, colors of beauty in Holland!

The picturesque Dutch Canals of Amsterdam is like a walk back in time.

Anne Franks House.  The history and story of Anne Frank is so sad and inspirational.

The House of Anne Frank was the hiding place where Anne Frank wrote her famous Diary, right in the heart of Amsterdam!

Walking the streets of Amsterdam is a dream in fairytale charm.

The Royal Palace of Amsterdam, has style in royal glorious history.

To see all of Amsterdam, you must climb the famous Westerkerk Bell Tower.  Climbing the very steep and narrow stairs is challenging.  But to see the top, you must keep going ~ keep going!

The Westerkerk Church Bell is on the way up to the top of the Bell Tower.  The Westerkerk Church is the largest church in Amsterdam and was built between 1619 – 1631.  This spot still remains today the pride of Amsterdam.

The climb is well worth every step to see the city view on the top of Westerkerk Bell Tower in Amsterdam.  Now how to get down?

Before you leave, try the famous Dutch Cheeses in Amsterdam, and buy a few extra to bring home.  "Cheese Glorious Cheese!"

Oh I visited Amsterdam back in 2015 in November @pilgrimtraveler , but my friend did not mention to me about the tower!
I will later share it in this account and my "difficulties" that I have faced when I was there. haha.
Probably it is a bilateral country banking system thingy.
