Day 40 of my 2000-mile solo bike tour down the entire West Coast of the USA.
Riding from Santa Cruz to the beginning of the beautiful Big Sur. Meeting a few other tourers and some crazy runners who I had met previously on the road that are doing relay marathons from Alaska to the tip of South America. The route was a bit confusing as, on a bicycle, I was not allowed to use a lot of Highway 1 on this segment. I still managed to get to the edge of Big Sur by sunset though. A cheeky wild camp on the side of the road before one of the most epic rides of the trip.
