There's plenty of other alternatives. Pico De Loro is located south of Manila near Nusugbu, but I'd recommend other places like Coron, El Nido, La Union, Sagada, Bohol and my favourite Siargao, amongst others probably. And Boracay is only closed for a month and then it reopens!

Oh I see..Just googled these places, and I'm actually quite impressed with Siargao and Coron. Will definitely try surfing in Siargao. I've heard that's one of the most famous spots to go surfing in the Philippines. Thanks
