This is a fantastic post - thank you for sharing such detailed observations about this city. Such beautiful architecture in some of the images - a shame it gets mixed in with the modern, less appealing buildings too.
Is it a quiet city? Many of your photos had only a few, or in a lot of cases, no people in them.
I think this is a quiet city, I was there well and comfortably. Many tourists only on the main pedestrian street, but they do not go further.
