I don't know how this really happens. I hear it's expensive for foreigners. But maybe if you go with a tourist group, it's easier. Now in Russia a lot of tourists, especially from China.

Ok, thanks. I'll look into it. I've heard that it can take years to get approved for a visit. Surely that can't be accurate...but you never know until you do the research.
