1st time in a Private Plane and Private Island - Balesin Part 2

in #travel6 years ago

After getting so many feedbacks from fellow steemians @zord189, @calebleejl, @branlee87, @siren87, @nanastraybutt and the awesome community here regarding my post yesterday on being in a private plane and island Part 1, I am super excited to share with you Part 2 featuring "St. Tropez" and "Toscana" of Balesin Island. It was really unexpected when there were so many comments, unlike my previous posts. I guessed with more practice, blogging seems more natural.

My good friend @zord189 advised me to watermark my photos so that the community knows that it is an original work, which I followed his advice here. Super grateful for his guidance and introduction to this Steemit platform, which I would not have known about its existence. I hope you enjoyed Part 1, if not you should check it here https://steemit.com/travel/@victary/1st-time-in-a-private-plane-and-private-island-balesin-part-1 before reading Part 2.

In the previous post, I showed you a teaser of "St Tropez", one of the villages in Balesin Island. "St Tropez" of Balesin is a replica of the Saint-Tropez on the French Riviera, in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region of southeastern France. Famous for its beaches and nightlife, many celebrities flock there in the 1960s.

Even Audrey Hepburn, the famous British actress visited St Tropez back in 1960s.

Now, if only it were the peak season, I am sure it would have been a sight! Too bad it was off-peak.

Every details is crafted to provide a French Riviera experience in Balesin. However, instead of looking out into the French Riviera, this "St Tropez" provides an unobstructed view of the Pacific Ocean. Out at the pool and beach, you have sun loungers and parasols dotting that space in vibrant hues.

Even the colors of the terrace and dining area blend perfectly into the setting.

Headed back into the Nirvana lounge for a quick view, you could feel the ambiance and vibe it exudes by its wall and furniture designs. Nicely fitting for a drink or two.

Not long after the tour, my client brought me to the next village, known as the "Toscana". "Toscana" is inspired by the Tuscany in Italy. When Italy comes to mind, you think of wine and cheese. But Florence of Tuscany is famous for its Renaissance art and architecture like the Michelangelo’s "David" statue. I have heard Tuscany is one of the most beautiful place for travels. At least I could say I have been to "one"?

The mosaics makes it such a quaint and lovely place.

Walking back into the dining area, at the table under the chandelier laid the exquisite Prosciutto, Italian dry-cured ham flown directly by the founder himself.

All these lovely places, wished I could stayed longer.

Right there and then it was about to rain and we jumped back into our golf carts and hurried to our next destination village which I loved the most - "Mykonos". Here is a sneak peak for "Mykonos" coming in Part 3.

Come to think of it, I always wanted to go to Italy. The idea of going here instead could save me some money! Nice photos. BTW, what are you using to watermark your photos with? Thanks.

I think going to Italy will be more affordable for us. If not for work purposes, I wouldnt be able to afford to travel to Balesin. Its membership cost millions... I use photoshop to watermark my photos

Looks like Italy it is! Thanks.

wow! I wished it was peak season too. so you could snap some photos ;)

waiting for "Mykonos"! Look a bit like Santorini! :)

Yes it reminded me of Santorini too.

Seriously damn beautiful la the structures and scenery!

Great post once again, man!

Keep it up!

Thanks man. Cant wait for your next audio podcast too

That is an excellent idea for some peaceful travel destination. Beach holidays are crazy populated around Philippines and Thailand. Guess, I should add this to my travel list! Thanks for sharing & keep it up!
