Liberia is a country in West Africa bordering Sierra Leone, Guinea and Côte d'Ivoire. On the Atlantic coast in the capital of Monrovia is the National Museum of Liberia with its exhibitions on national culture and history. Around Monrovia there are beaches with palm trees, such as Silver and CeCe. Along the coast are the harbor of Buchanan and the harbor of Roberts, known for its powerful surf.
Liberia is a country with historical ties to the United States. It was founded by black slaves, who were liberated during the pre-war civil war in the 19th century. The capital of Monrovia was named after James Monroe. The flag of Liberia is very similar to the American flag, reflecting the historical relations of Liberia with the United States.
Rain in Liberia:
In Liberia, the climate is tropical, hot and humid throughout the year, with the rainy season from May to October due to the African monsoon and quite often rains of other months except for a short dry season lasts from December to February. This is more pronounced in the north. In the southern zone, rains have a relative gap from the middle of July to the end of August. Along the coast of precipitation is more than 3000 mm per year. In the northern part of the coast, in the capital of Monrovia, precipitation has even reached 5.1 meters (200 inches) per year, with a peak in June and July, when almost one meter (3.3 feet) rain falls month after month, and the parent disappears August. Here the rains in April and November are plentiful.
The capital of Liberia in July looks almost so much rain (1150 mm). What can we have for a whole year in Pakistan? Honestly, I've never seen so much rain in my life. This is really too much ... but In any case, its nature ... nature is always great.
Liberia, a lush, green, friendly and energetic country, offers everything from beautiful surf shops and merchandise to hard local designers, to days in a cozy hammock on the edge of the rainforest and singing tropical birds. It is home to one of the finest national parks in West Africa and continues to house a confident American spirit mixed with West African roots. And despite the destruction of the past, it's a fantastic place to travel, full of hope and energy.
Beaches:
In Liberia; there are many attractive beaches in Liberia, but the Atlantic is prone to tides and other dangerous currents. Swimmers should be careful and consult local authorities before going into the water. Avoid canoes and fishing boats offering services to passengers. They are regularly overloaded with strong waves and currents. Miami Beach is one of the famous and crowded beach in Monrovia. There are other three main beaches - Kendeja, Silver Beach and Ellen’s Beach - as well as a number of smaller ones. The popular tourist destination Monkey Island is located only a few miles outside of Monrovia.
