Trip to Market

in #travel4 years ago

Off for a walk to the closest market to my apartment. I was told there is one more open in the mall but I have not checked it. Most all restaurants are closed as this is close to a university there are many closed. It's sad the only two that are open are McDonald's and KFC, these are far from my favorite choice.

My company and client have not stopped working. So it's 10 hours work with about 3 hours of commute. Then I have my driver go to drive through at KFC, after picking up a 9 piece bucket, I eat three, shower and sleep as quick as I can.

Not many people were out and everyone now wears mask. They take your temp when you enter the mall as well as my apartment. Typical of what I here in other places.

The only thing open in the mall is the market and a juice shop.

It was nice to have a fresh juice while shopping.

The market was not very crowded, it seems like normal for a Saturday.

The market has always been well stocked. They did run out of one brand of canned tuna fish as well as a few things I normally buy but the shelves were never empty.

Oh and this little guy was munching on a palm tree. As close as I can tell he has not been effected by the coronavirus 🙀

Hope everyone stays safe 🙏

The same story applies here in Ghana too. But many institutions are still open. With the wearing of mask, its a must for you if you want to go out. Stay safe and have a wonderful day

fresh juice!
