So we say to Caripe... a Venezuelan town located in the Monagas State, it is called in this way due to its climate and the fertility of its lands which allows that in the area there is an exquisite vegetation and a striking green color in its mountains.

The reason why I decided to visit Caripe with my husband was to see the imposing Alejandro de Humboldt Natural Monument or as it is colloquially known as "La Cueva del Guácharo" named after a bird called Guácharo that feeds at night. and stays in the cave during the day, this is a place that for me in particular transmits a sense of mystery and calm at the same time.

To our surprise there were more beautiful places to see, how: The path La Paila, as the name says, is a path of 1,200 meters, so they recommend bringing a bottle of water and appropriate footwear since the road is very slippery and although you do good exercise along the way, it's worth it because at the end you receive the majestic jump the paila.

Tell me if this is not a wonder?

After this walk we decided to take a break for lunch, I was delighted, because although the food was delicious I could tell that more than a service, you get a rewarding experience to see so many people friendly and helpful.

We continue our journey to the Mirador, where you have a panoramic view of the entire valley, Here causes you to stay all day enjoying a beautiful view; but the Ivy Chapel in San Agustín was waiting for us, when I got to it I wondered if it was real or it was only my imagination, but yes, it was there, it seemed like the ideal place to make a dream wedding ...

At the end of the day, we receive the sunset with these fresh strawberries with cream that of course you can not stop trying.

When I got home I understood that what they say is very true, "it is not destiny, it is the journey" I knew where I wanted to go, but I could see much more and I enjoyed it with the best company.
