Helios.Voter is thrilled to announce its comeback, now better than ever with freshly updated rules and guidelines meticulously crafted to evolve and flourish alongside our vibrant community.

Following an in-depth review of our curation activities since our last update, we've realized the need for even more refined guidelines. In response, we've introduced more stringent content checks for users initiating a Burn to Vote boost via Helios. For a detailed understanding, please refer to our newly updated content guidelines below:

Helios.Voter Rulers and Guidelines: 📜

  1. Relevance: Ensure content aligns with the blog's theme and interests.
  2. Originality: Submit original content, avoiding plagiarism and citing sources when necessary.
  3. Length: Aim for concise posts (minimum 250 words), varying as per complexity (e.g., art or photography posts).
  4. Clarity: Use clear, simple language for diverse audiences, avoiding unnecessary jargon.
  5. Tone and Style: Maintain a consistent tone suitable for the blog's audience. Respectful Tone: Ensure a respectful, inclusive tone, avoiding offensive or inappropriate content.
  6. Engagement: Encourage interaction through questions, comments, or related article suggestions.
  7. Guidelines on Content Focus and Sensitivity
We are committed to fostering a diverse and respectful community. To maintain this standard, we kindly ask contributors to avoid posts centered on controversial political agendas or divisive subjects. This includes but is not limited to, content that may be seen as promoting specific political figures or viewpoints in a contentious manner (such as posts perceived as idolizing Vladimir Putin's stance on the Ukraine conflict), religious proselytizing, anti-vaccination narratives, or any other material that could be construed as spreading misinformation or inciting hatred.

Our goal is to curate content that is informative, engaging, and inclusive. We appreciate your understanding and adherence to these guidelines.

Example of Review Process:

Recently, we reviewed a post that did not align with these guidelines. In the past, we have looked up to platforms like @ecency for their curation standards, but it has come to our attention that there have been lapses in maintaining these standards. In such instances, we will take necessary actions to ensure our curated content remains true to our community values and rises above the rest!

Here are two posts we have decided not to support, this is an example of how to be added to our blacklist:
https://peakd.com/hive-155986/@vp-freelance/hnspusgsbe
https://peakd.com/hive-122315/@vp-freelance/fascist-salute-will-not-be

Exceptionally, a refund was granted to the user in the scenario described above, owing to its unprecedented nature.

Moving forward... should a user violate any of the aforementioned rules and subsequently initiate a token burn that bypasses our pre-monitoring checks and does not pass the post-monitoring audit (occurring after the token burn), we maintain the authority to revoke any upvotes associated with the user. Additionally, the user will forfeit all rights to the burnt HELIOS tokens.

Repercussions:

If a user submits a post that our curation team finds to be inconsistent with the outlined guidelines above, we will respond to the post with a friendly message, offering constructive suggestions for improvement. Should a user persistently submit posts that do not align with our guidelines, we reserve the right to temporarily blacklist them from our mentorship program.

Here is our official blacklist below:

https://blacklist.helios.surf/blacklist.json

We also refer the @spaminator blacklist too:

https://spaminator.me/api/bl/all.json

We respectfully decline all curation requests from accounts on the blacklists above, and will not provide any upvotes to these authors. However, please note that we do not engage in flagging or downvoting of blacklisted content.

Any user placed on the blacklist retains the right to appeal their status through our Discord channel. If they express a commitment to adhere to our rules and guidelines in their future posts, we are open to reconsidering their blacklist status, allowing them the opportunity to restart their engagement with our program.

We express our heartfelt gratitude to the HELOS community for the tremendous support we've received through the years, and to everyone who stuck with us through good times and bad. Recognizing the responsibility that comes with this trust, we are committed to refining our curation guidelines and introducing stringent content checks. Your confidence in us has motivated our team to ensure a fair, transparent, and engaging environment for all. Thank you for being an integral part of our journey! Anyone interested in learning more should feel free to join us on discord or simply ask us in the comment section below.

Hi!
Please provide some clarity for me to avoid such misunderstandings in the future.

This passenger has something to do with your service and if yes, why he allows himself such a disrespectful attitude to the hive users. What does his personal point of view have to do with the work of your service?

Please take measures so that in the future the actions of this character will not cause losses to investors of your project, because I am also thinking about participating in this.

@vp-freelance/re-oleksiitkachuk-2024223t456542z

I called him to make a bugreport on the work of the helios service.
Who will not downvote my messages about malfunctions in the future, who can I keep in touch with?

Have a nice day!
!WEED

Hi. Was the conflict started with your knowledge?

it seems to me that @theguruasia with her moral qualities does not fit the position and casts a shadow of negativity on the whole project.
Question: will it be possible to resolve the conflict in a non-public way, because I have many more relevant topics to publish, except this one?

https://ecency.com/politics/@vp-freelance/re-oleksiitkachuk-2024223t456542z

!WEED

Yeah that's true, that guy oleksiitkachuk is spamming and should be able to receive flags. I will talk to theguruasia and find out what is going on. If any links you burnt HELIOS to issue downvotes didn't go through, send me the post links and I will issue refunds. It looks like the ones I checked went through.

Is there any procedure for disputing a downvote, or is this the first time this situation has arisen?
!WEED

Thank you very much for spending your time to find out the rightness of our disputes!
My question was not about refunds, but about a possible system bug or other malfunction.
I would like to find out for myself for the future, is Guruasia a representative of your project, or is it just an enthusiast pretending to be a member of the administration? I don't want to set up a discord and thought I could keep in touch with guruazia about the Helios work.

How can I get on the white list of those who are not allowed to buy negative votes? Perhaps I should delegate more power to helios for this?
I would like to be able to communicate with this passenger on equal terms without the risk of financial punishment on his part. especially since I cannot reciprocate his feelings due to his being on the white list!
After your conversation with guruasia, he went nuts and downvotes my posts with your service)))))
My analysis posts have links to the sources of the information they are talking about. They are reputable media that no one accuses of propaganda or misinformation, it's strange that I'm getting in trouble on the hive for this.
Especially since the last update to your rules, I don't use your service to promote content that could be interpreted ambiguously!
There are no calls for hate speech or calls for illegal activity in my posts.
It seems to me, but personal dislike of guruasia is not a reason to banish from the platform users who have a different opinion from his, abide by the rules of the Hive and generate relevant original content.

It is very unfair when whitelisted users infringe on the rights of regular users.
What actions should a user take to be removed from the whitelist?

It's nice to deal with adequate people!
Have a nice day and night!

He probably should have sourced his pics/memes, but the rest of it is free speech.
Popular speech doesn't need protection.™

Excellent information about Helios voters

It's great that you're constantly making up new rules as you play!
It would be fair if users could familiarize themselves with them before buying your tokens, not after. Although fairness and objectivity is now in question.

My blog expresses the opinion of many Russian-speaking Ukrainians. It discusses the trends raised in the world press, confirmed by me on the spot! You are not interested in the truth, if it is different from what you heard on TV, so soon you will hear it there too! You can't hide the truth no matter how hard you try.

I will be watching carefully how you adhere to your new rules(I suspect not the latest revision) especially with regard to supporting discussion of other conflicts, e.g. Israel and Palestine, the US with the whole world and many others)))

It's a pity that instead of running your business, you caved in to the pressure of Russophobes who have been making every effort since the beginning of the conflict to push Russian supporters off the platform....
Here's the proof: https://ecency.com/hive-122315/@vp-freelance/one-of-the-few-facts-of-the-presence-of-nazism-in-ukraine

The promotion of this content was not paid for - this is real audience feedback. It's a shame that people like you drove away this audience under pressure from the Russophobic whales.

With your "good intentions" you are turning the Hive into a Steemit or even more tsuensurized place!

Postscript:
Don't you think that by canceling your votes under my content it would be decent to also cancel transactions from my account for your votes? Or is this another sanction against Russians on Hive?

P.P.S.
The screenshot with photos from my article used as an example in your article is real! It is not a photoshopped sphasika!

These are the people you're supporting here????

!WEED

The powerful don't even have to make up rules to act from a position of strength. The easiest thing to do is to brand you as a pro-Kremlin propagandist and not listen to your arguments, no matter how adequate they sound.

Too bad you didn't get your coins back.
But it's not an expensive price to pay for showing their essence to the whole hive.
I share many of your points! Thanks, keep it up!

Here is the refund.

Thank you for your fair judgment!
Can I continue to use your service according to these rules?
