"Can You Unite the Whole World?" TribeSteemUp BiWeekly Question

in #tribesteemup6 years ago (edited)

Can We Unite the Whole World? This question can be interpreted in so many different ways and it can also lead onto many other questions.Lets begin as if this question is talking about uniting the Human World. With the way that things are, would we even want to unite the whole world?

When we look at the world that we human's live in at the moment, we can see that everything that is done, is for the benefit of mankind. We are living in a world that has a dominant view over nature, where all the resources on the planet are being used and abused. Where so many believe the earth is theirs to do with as they see fit. A world ruled by man's ego. Where, in a sense, the human world is already united in this culture of greed and destruction.

Every Government Body is driven by their own self interest, an interest that is based on building up and preserving their resources. As well as manipulating society to help them remain in power. It is a world that is governed/ruled by business men, where everything is done to obtain a profit. With this drive to obtain self interest, you would never unite the world. This idea to create one nation, is a business strategy and would ultimately be about uniting the business world, for maximum trade, maximum profit. If there were to be just one nation then it would not be about the people.

At present there is too much segregation, too much division in our world. There could never be unity with this patriarchy system in place, a system that is driven by the ego of mankind. This idea of certain people being voted into power based on their popularity when at the end of the day they are just the front person for the business people who continue to dictate and rule, is laughable in my eyes, yet this is the reality of the world we live in. This is how advanced some of us have become. This is how conditioned that so many have been made. To accept this as their reality and to play along and be a part of it, a part of this system and mind set that continues be so destructive and based on greed and power.

So much needs to be achieved if we were to all come together and unite in a way that is beneficial for all of mankind.
But it is this idea in itself that we should all unite for the benefit of mankind that I have a problem with too.

We are part of something that is greater than ourselves, something that has a natural order all of it's own. We are part of nature, part of the natural cycles of nature. Everything we need to survive is provided by nature, not by some ruling party.

We have been conditioned to think differently, there is so much emphasis put on personal gain and achievement that we have forgotten that we come from the earth. No matter where in the world we come from our heritage is one of earth based spirituality. There was a time when we all followed the seasons, read the stars and were in tune with the moon. When we all worked closely with the earth and lived in balance with our natural environment. We were all united in our connection to the earth, to the sky. We lived in different ways, we were different people, yet we were connected. There was respect for all living things. This is sorely missed today.

I am not talking about returning to those days, I am talking about remembering those days, finding new ways to live in harmony with the earth. To honour the earth, to honour ourselves. To understand that we are part of something greater than ourselves, but we are part of it. To bring about understanding and acceptance. Because yes we are all different, we can not unite and expect people to all be the same, to exist under one rule. Our diversity is part of our nature, it is something to be celebrated. When we remember who we are, when we get to live in our natural state, we then begin to feel part of the whole, we begin working towards a better way for the whole earth. We work in a way that shows respect for all living things. In this way we can unite the whole world.

One example of this happening today is through Permaculture. Permaculture in itself is nothing new to the world, it is something that has been in existence for a very long time, but whilst man has focused on this pursuit of personal gain, it had become forgotten. But we are starting to remember again. We are starting to remember that nature is one of our best teachers, that in order for us to live sustainable lives we need to mimic the design and patterns within nature.

Permaculture is a movement that is occurring globally and in my eyes it is a great example of how We Can Unite The WHOLE World. Working with the systems already put in place by our natural environment, where we are part of the WHOLE.

So What Do you Think Can We Unite The Whole World?

Thank You @valorforfreedom for putting forward this great question.

I think it is not about any one of us uniting anything or for any system to draw us together. WE ARE UNITED. We ARE one, facets of the cosmic whole. We just rarely see it. Personal consciousness is the only way this can ever shift. One person, and then the next, FEELING the connection and then living it. Nice post! One Love.

One of my favorite lines in this excellent post...

This idea of certain people being voted into power based on their popularity when at the end of the day they are just the front person for the business people who continue to dictate and rule, is laughable in my eyes....

I was just talking to a friend today about this and related ideas. I completely agree with you, and also that permaculture is an excellent example of something that brings us into harmony with each other. And within "each other" I include all life forms, not just humans.

You've inspired me to take on this question tomorrow.

thank you @indigoocean, I look forward to your answer, it is a great question x

A great question.

I was moved to answer this one....it is right up my alley.

The Age of Abundance is upon us.

cheers @taskmaster4450, it certainly is upon us, I look forward to your answer.

mmm nice answer.. i like how you end it too.. and how you clarify unity as being about the people changing and finding unity with all that is, instead of our governments doing it.. because change starts with us not the governments! I will write on this too, will be an interesting post! I tried writing the last one on coherence and just couldn't find my way.. perhaps because im not feeling very coherent myself lately! <3

thank you Alex, I look forward to reading your post, I hope things are starting to come together for you, it will take a while to find your groove again but you will, much love and respect xx

and yes, taking time but there is no rush really

It is long past time to stop looking at how we are all different, whether it be ethnic group, nationality, language, religious beliefs, creed, personal philosophies, etc., and start realizing how we are all alike and can all learn from and live in harmony with each other.

I don't care how you choose to worship divinity or the mother earth, or an alien spacefaring race for that matter. Where the line is crossed is when ideologies begin to adopt a mindset of superiority, or of "being the only way."
The elites have done a great job of keeping the people distracted through the funding of, glorification of, and limelighting of, an endless barrage of sports, pop culture, consumerism, entertainment, and on and on.

All of us have been poisoned by propaganda from our own governments and corporate owned media to the point where we are all reaching a simultaneous awakening in consciousness and shifting of our reality to being able to see how truly effed up the world is.
We must realize and self correct our own individual paths that if we are serving and working within the system, then we are sustaining the very system that is enslaving and killing off both our species and the planet. I'm pretty sure that whatever force gave us life is not pleased with how we have used our dominion and stewardship of this plane.
Look at how all the other creatures live in perfect harmony and contentment with their surroundings and then reflect on how man has been ridiculously negligent, poisoning and destroying everything in his path. It's not enough just to be able to get from Point A to Point B on an elemental, renewable energy source such as solar, wind, or water. No, we have to deplete the earth of it's lifeblood, oil, to power our never ending growth of empire and fiat currency. We have to strip mine the crust of all it's metals and minerals to smelt, burn, refine, cut, and shape to power our never ending growth of empire and fiat currency. Is this the age old human dilemma? Is the rise and fall of murderous empires based on a need of survival and self preservation or is it born from a greedy lust of power, that certain men or family bloodlines just want to control every damned thing on the planet, including the people?
It seems to me, like everything is increasingly designed to cut us off from nature and detach us from our Source. Being grounded to the earth is a natural cure for arthritis and inflammation so it's ok to go outside and walk barefoot in the soil or grass. Shoes may offer protection from hot rocks, asphalt, or pavement, but we were not born to live in such an unnatural environment as a concrete jungle. We were made to live in a symbiotic balance with nature.

very well said @mindszai, I agree 100% with you, so many people have been cut off from the source, just walking barefoot is frowned upon by some yet it is so healing and powerful, but yet so many are remembering and finding their way back, it is always really great to connect with those on here xx

Just having my morning coffee and nodding my head as I am reading this. It was a great start of my day, thank you for that 💚

thank you @zen-art xx you're very welcome xx
