Is your name Judas by any chance?

I hate to rain on anyone's parade, but there is something I don't see being mentioned here. This whole idea that Trump is an ally to the cryptosphere could blow up in everyone's face.

The biggest obstacle

Almost from it's inception crypto, and more accurately Bitcoin has struggled to win in the propaganda war. Yes, we've come along way, and most people that called it a scam or rat poison have lost quite a few decibels of reach.

I don't think we could say crypto has won the propaganda war, and I would go as far as to say we are years away from the victory, and this is precisely why this new Trump scam worries me. I believe this could be a big set back for us. I don't know how this pans out in a positive way.

Opportunists

I'm seeing some crypto influencers (whatever that means), celebrating this Trump move as if it's going to help out our financial revolution. There are some who are either sycophants or idiots, that believe this move is what's needed to finally destroy the federal reserve.

I see these people as disgusting opportunists who are happy riding the wave of this scam to pump the bag that I'm sure they got already.

I usually don't give financial advice

But, I'll make an exception for this one time. Whatever you may be thinking, just don't fucking do it.

This is the biggest scam, possibly of my lifetime. This is going to make Bernie Madoff look like a Disney princess, and I don't think I'm exaggerating here.

In three months

When the first locked up coins get released and the people in the cryptically named inner circles begin dumping, I'm sure my suspicions will be validated.

I would not be surprised if Trump's third impeachment happens right after the first dump. Honestly, I don't see how it this wouldn't be the case.

Speechless

I don't know if you can tell, but I'm having a hard time digesting this whole thing. It seems surreal to me, like someone is about to tell me it's a prank.

But watch... Watch Judas throw crypto under the bus when this whole shit blows up...

I don't know how this pans out in a positive way.

I view it as very positive.
First of all it's confirmation that he's going to roll back all the regulations in our sector.
He literally has to, to get away with this.

Now normally this would be a bad thing... zero oversight, but crypto already has zero oversight.
I can anonymously boot up a memecoin tomorrow and rug everyone and investors can not be "protected".
The regulation by enforcement strategy is a complete farce.

This move also confirms that 2025 is going to be an insane bull market year.
The pump and the dump are going to be much bigger than last cycle.
This will be bad for all the plebs and the newbies, but users like you and I can navigate it with ease.
We have a lot of experience with bull market madness at this point.

So it's basically up to us to make a bunch of money and then use that money as wisely and honorably as we can. This is a tall order but I think a good amount of people on this network are up to the task. We are otherwise pretty powerless over this situation and just need to roll with the punches. This is simply the chaotic nature of the digital jungle we find ourselves in.

your pragmatism and clear head is admired my friend... I think I'm going to channel you when it's time to make calls...

It's pretty frustrating to watch all the dishonorable sellouts running around but sometimes you just gotta lean into it.

The Trump coin looks about as useful as the Hawk Tua meme coin, and speculation is sure to far outpace what little room there is for "investment," but I'm more interested in whether he pardons Ross Ulbricht as promised. That will say more than anything else for now.

Four years of indigestion...crypto is just one part of it
