Trump wants to default on the national debt? I haven't heard that but I was speculating that he may try it since he is very good at handling ridiculous levels of debt. The national debt is absurd and illegitimate, so it needs to be repudiated. Obamacare is another scam, why on earth would you want to keep it? Trump has started literally hundreds of bank financed ventures and defaulted on something like five of them. If his ventures weren't overwhelmingly profitable, the banks would have stopped lending to him a long time ago. Taxes, even those on the rich and corporations, are taxes on the poor and middle classes. Any tax cut is more money in your pocket. Take a little time and learn some economics. Trump, at least in his rhetoric, is antiwar and noninterventionist, while Hillary has threatened to nuke Iran and Russia numerous times...search the internet, there are video clips. Trump has been fairly criticized on his trade policy, however if his tariffs are temporary, in an attemp force other countries to lift their own tariffs, it may not incite a trade war and actually help make trade fair.

I have a better idea. How about we not call them idiots and instead open a dialogue with his supporters to see what their complaints are and see if they have merit, and if they are faulty in their reasoning there can be a discussion about what actually does make sense and what the facts are.
Just like talking to a religious fanatic, you won't make any headway with name-calling. At least if you address them with civility and they engage you with their arguments and you respond in kind, the worst thing that can happen is that you can sharpen your own rhetoric and understand your "opponent" better. To merely call Trump an idiot for your own enjoyment is the easy way out.
By the way I'm not talking directly to you @laconicflow (nice name by the way), but to anyone who has a disagreement with Trump and his followers or any other group for that matter.

You should be able to click on it and it will give you the option of 'unflagging' it. It's not important though. My post was not going to get a reward or anything and I'm not bitter about it. It was a misunderstanding. No biggie.
I can guarantee you that I didn't flag your original post, so don't worry about that either.
And as far as flagging posts, yes, it is important to not flag unless it's really necessary.
Also, if you do need to flag someone in the future - and you did this with me so I'm not suggesting that you don't do this - be sure to leave a note saying as to why it's being flagged. Many users don't bother to leave a comment and it leads to misunderstandings as to why they have been flagged. There is no "best practices" wiki page for Steemit yet so it is impossible to know what is "acceptable" or not. Just keep doing your best!
Lastly, up to this point many of the users have been trying to foster an environment that is unfriendly to trolling, abuse and plagiarism. So, bear that in mind. This isn't 4chan or YouTube comments.

Which he has just recently said was "sarcastic", makes him seem like an idiot and not worthy or capable of being a good President of the United States.
You need look no further than the various republicans that are distancing or renouncing the candidate to see that Trump is his own worst enemy. He could have made it a really close race or even won if he didn't keep making statements like the above or calling out the mother and saying she was silent perhaps because of being muslim. Then being thin-skinned and calling the father out for his "vicious" attacks. Presidential candidate insults your wife and you're supposed to not say anything? Trump has no self-control and that is a recipe for disaster for someone in the most powerful position in the world.

I make my own decisions on every individual issue based on evidence and have no political affiliations. All sides have valid points and perspectives to a degree, it's in all our best interests to listen to each other no matter what our ideologies in order to come to the best conclusions. How is it possible that a 100 million people on the other side of your argument be all wrong all the time? They aren't all idiots, so maybe there is something wrong with the way we think and the other side is right after all.
