Another very wise and logical post in the best interest of Steemit!
Flagging is important and necessary but as you say it should only be used for plagiarism or spam not as an ego war. It would go to much better use to help promote good content.
Unfortunately humans have huge egos especially ones with lots of power/money. I doubt your post will get through to them but maybe the community as a whole will learn and evolve.

You are right, I agree with you. I guess that they will not even read the post or might ignore it however I hope that someone of influnce will read and reach out to them before they destroy themselves and pull innocent people with them...this can lead to physical violence due to the hate involved...isnt it?
