WEB3 "gurus" = basically frauds 🤡

I know, I know. The drama is getting old and the dude is just being annoying at this point but I still want to touch a bit on the state of the #WEB3 influencer space. HBD aside. No need to cover that. My APR doesnt care about some uninformed opinion on Twitter.

I was curious to see who exactly were the people that were following this guy and engaging with his tweets.
I mean, there cant really be actual people trying to learn about WEB3 from him, considering he doesnt even use WEB3.
He uses his twitter to lead people to his articles on Medium.com.😂

Its kind of like if Michael Saylor shilled Bitcoin and then had a link in his bio to the Federal Reserve "About Us" page.

What the hell can someone like that teach anyone about WEB3? Probably nothing.

I looked a bit into these accounts that engaged with him and it very much seems that these guys are essentially just running an engagement farming scam. Just repeating meaningless buzzwords they dont even understand themselves. Providing no value while trying to draw in unsuspecting folks by circlejerking each other to boost their tweets.

To me they look like a bunch of opportunists that found a niche on Twitter they feel they can position themselves in.
Maybe one day get paid to shill like Bitboy, push their newsletter or sell a online course.

Theyre basically full of shit and funniest thing about that is that they know theyre full of shit😂. They say it openly. Heres a guy that calls himself "Web3 Savant".

Ironic isnt it? haha.
Its like youre trying to sell something that youre unwilling to buy yourself.

When I see this I just get flashbacks to the crypto youtubers crying over getting banned on youtube while theyre not even attempting to use decentralized platforms or help grow the space.
These are very much the same type of people. Only themselves on their mind.
Many of them arent even aware of what theyre doing or why theyre mockworthy so I really cant hate them. Theyre just dumbasses with egos so big they think they can be educators or gurus.

I dunno, this whole influencer thing is just absurd and silly. I mean theres probably people in there that are decent folks that just dont know better. Just repeating what they see themselves.

Some of us here on Hive have been living and breathing WEB3 for 5+ years and I can with certainty say that these gurus on Twitter can teach you nothing as they know nothing.
