Who is @surpassinggoogle?
Many of you already know who Terry or @surpassinggoogle is, but for those that are not aware, he is the creator of the #ulog and the #teardrops movement on Steemit. I don't think anyone on the platform has been more influential or has done more for those around the world than Terry has through his involvement on the platform.
I was talking to Terry this morning and the ulog tag has been used by 5177 Steemians since its inception.
It has seen over 45,000 posts and 179,800 comments. The ulog platform has given users a unique voice to express themselves and to be rewarded for it.
Time to come together for Terry
Terry has been a little absent as of late and I am sure that a lot of his followers and those in the Steemgigs discord have noticed it as well. He had made a post in the discord server a while back about his feelings of depression and how that is affecting him and we all know that he has been working very hard to keep his father's health as stable as possible.
Even with all of this going on, Terry has still managed to find the time to work on the ulogs.org site, read people's ulogs, and continue to give back to the community. Giving back to the community has become a lot harder for him since his delegation from @ned was pulled about 24 days ago. I understand that @ned delegated to a lot of different projects and people and they all had their delegation pulled, but @surpassingoogle's delegation was being used to change people's lives all over the world.
Terry let me know that his father's health was continuing to decline and his own health was beginning to decline as well. He said that the medicine that his father needs costs around $50 USD per day. As you can see his situation is not very good, but he continues to think about everyone here on the platform and how he can help all of you, even though he really needs the help from us.
How can you help?
I am beginning a campaign for Terry. I am hoping to raise funds for him to help him cover the costs for his father. I will be donating all of the liquid rewards from this post to @surpassinggoogle upon payout. If you feel more comfortable donating directly to him, that would also be greatly appreciated.
I am also hoping that those that are able to delegate to him and his project see this and are willing to support it. If @ned was able to see how many lives were changed by this I think he would be more apt to return some of the delegation.
I think we all need to show support to Terry in his time of need. If you are able to support him by upvoting this post or any of his posts it would be greatly appreciated. The power of the Steemit platform is awesome because a full upvote recharges in about 2 hours and 25 minutes, but can help to change someone's life. Donations straight to him would be the easiest though. GREAT to Meet you, I feel like I know you and I have personally seen literally HUNDREDS of people you have touched and helped in a very meaningful way. I have been inspired and moved as well, and it was truly second hand, because your influence is so great! Wes was one of my own "early finds" and I tried to help him a little with the Boot Camp, I am a good early spotter of talent! He has surpassed my own Rep and such, I just hope I was not holding him back...

He has onboarded more new users and done more good for more people than anyone or any app. Resteemed - I hope this makes trending.
He really has done more good for anyone on the platform than anyone that I know of. It would be awesome if he got the Dlive delegation. It would go to much better use than how they were using it anyways.

The only way to make trending would be for @buildawhale, @appreciator, @upmewhale, @boomerang, @booster and any of the other bid bots to show their support to him. If only the owners could see how much good Terry has done for the platform.

Hey @derangedvisions, its always good to see you but in this case I'm sad to the the message. I have a ton of respect for Terry @surpassinggoogle and will do what I can to help him too. I think he is amazing and deserves much more than he gets for sure. I think it was a bad decision to remove his delegation, but maybe we can put our heads together with him and come up with a plan over the longer run. All the things he has done for all these people is not wasted just because he lost his delegation. I hope he gets a chance to read this message. His family issues are of course way more important and that is a separate situation, but there are many of people like me that know of and respect the hell out of him and want to see him going strong!

He is a Human Angel from everything I have seen, and the words of his that I have read. A real asset to our community. Irreplaceable, and very very needed. I'm truly sad to hear about the hard times happening this month :'( Hopefully this is the start of it all turning around.

@Surpassinggoogle deserves much me. His contribution to e #steemit platform has benefited at least 80% of users. We pray @ned returns the delegation to him with even a greater value.
Moreover, I think there should be a polling system that decides which witnesss gets what amount of delegation. Is should be on merit and users should decide. We are the ones to detect the impacts of the witnesses.

This is a great idea, thanks for putting this together and for all you do for the Steemit platform! I haven't been really active lately myself because of depression and health issues so I can totally relate. My vote doesn't mean much but you have my vote towards a worthy cause!

Terry has been one of the person I will never forget on Steemit because of his great impact in my Steemit blog whenever I made use of ulog. I used to earn very low payout just by writing articles not until I came across @ulogs which was discovered by @surpassinggoogle in courtesy of @steemgigs, I was able to make close to $1 for my posts as a Ulogger. I can't really forget this because it brought hope to me as a Steemian who is just struggling to attain success.
I don't mind writing an article related to helping @surpassinggoogle due to the kind of great virtues he possess. I don't mind do anything that can restore his health provided I am capable of doing it. I hope he gets well soon.

@derangedvisions, thank you for alerting me to this situation. I do not know Terry personally, but I have supported many of the same folks he has and many of the same causes. I know the SteemitFamilyPH and many, many other groups LOVE this man and I have personally been inspired by much of what he does. I have some of the people who I have as Proxies and I have assured them that YES, I do also vote @steemgigs! STEEM and @surpassinggoogle go together like hand in glove! HOPEFULLY We can help enough that he will not have to power down at this most inopportune time...

I am with you on this, I will re-echo and ask people to delegate to his @surpassinggoogle account and hopefully someone will help get him a JSON developer, too to help in the Ulogs condsenser. Currently, after he lost the delegation, only 3 people delegated to his account to help. He still curates these days and I am hoping people will rally to give him any amount of SP to boost his SP so he can continue with his fire. Indeed he is changing lives and dreaming of a better Internet. We need to be all in with this but any help, helps. I am hoping people can at least delegate to his account, even a litte will do a lot when we pool it. Any help you can do. Let's act on this and make ULOGS move onward and forward! Thank you for doing this for @surpassinggoogle I just saw this now while I was checking discord. I'm saddened by this news. I wish he and his father total healing.
It is true that he has changed lives of people. He is very instrumental why this platform has grown here in the Philippines and Nigeria, and has grown more from there with various projects like #untalented #teardrops and #ulog. I hope @ned re-evaluates his delegation.
