Amazing Adjustments
Steemit as a community has impacted my life a great deal that going into full details might take you longer than a week to see the end. I must pick out few points.
Reading and writing
Reading has never been my thing. Before steemit, I never had time for books or articles cos each time i tried, I would in five minutes notice tears roll down my cheeks like I was mourning the book or the author. Lol... funny but true.
The joy I have right now that I will forever be thankful to this great community is that since June 2017 I joined steemit, "reading" is now a hobby... and of cos you know there is no reading without writing. Exposure and ideas are things I get to learn free of charge on a daily basis.
Being Creative
I used to think writing was just all about writing. I say what i want to say and everyone goes with it. Steemit, reading and writing have made me understand that writing is also about communication . Whatever i write should pass a message (should be educative). Seeing how people put in work to make sure the readers understand in details the message passed down to him/her.
I am very encouraged and so I will also impact other steemians.
Being creative has given me the boldness to want to write more so as to get views from other.
