The Ultimate Way to No Fear !

Fear

is the very first human disease. Fear can be rooted out from an insufficient knowledge of the ultimate unknown. But fear actually comes from a far deeper root than that. Fear comes to the heart of man at the sound of a ringing conscience. In short, fear is ultimately rooted from guilt.

Let it be sufficiently so. There was actually no need for any human being to fear if everything was laid out clearly before his eyes. This includes all the things that are hidden within his heart. He should have been able to constantly feel something that is pressing itself into the innermost parts of his being. There is reality in here beyond what one usually imagines. There is something that needs to be revealed, something that needs to be overcome.

It’s a guilty conscience. And, a #guilty conscience is experienced for no irrelevant reason. Sin committed against somebody, but kept from no other man’s knowledge for many years, would certainly trouble the conscience too overwhelmingly. Of course, man is able to resist the troubling of the conscience.

As days fly by, the resistance would get stronger and stronger, and the person may gain the confidence that he is able to completely forget about what he has done wrong. Of a certainty, though, the person does not and could not enjoy a completely and an absolutely peaceful restfulness in his heart and mind.

This would in turn make him very anxious about even the most simple things. He becomes fearful lest his hidden sin might be found out at the end of the day. The only way he can finally and ultimately rest from his troubled conscience, and at the same time, cease his fears, is to recognize, confess and repent of his sin.

Now beyond the obvious sins and wrongs we often would do against our fellow human beings, there seems to be a far higher sense of fearfulness that we can feel. Whenever circumstances in our lives become questionable, and we would just almost want to surrender into some higher source of power, we could certainly know that we needed an explanation of the ultimate unknown. We could almost be certain, under such circumstances, that we are accountable to a higher power, and a higher responsibility is required of us. In this case where our sense of reality should ultimately be given over to something beyond ourselves, we are rather assured of finding the peace and quiet we have ultimately been crying out for.
