Hello Fellow Steemians!
I just wanna share to you about my experience in the kadayawan here in our City.
Yearly, we conduct the Kadayawan, usually it is a Month long celebration on a bountiful harvest.
This is where people from different places gather together and celebrate the good harvest of the city.
During the culmination days, there are contests participated by dance groups where they showcase their native dance numbers showing each of the tribe's culture.
Another is the showcase of fruits and flowers through a Floral and Fruit parade. Here, trucks and other vehicles are used and designed by different flowers and others harvest. it is actually very beautiful to watch. Sadly, I was not able to get a picture of it this year.
Another fun activity was to sea the houses of each tribe as well as their native products. from food to different colorful items. Representing each rich culture to the world.
This event did not happen just in one place but in multiple places all around the city. There were concerts from every corner. Freebies and other promos from malls and restaurants and there more contest being participated by every one in the City. I hope some of you may try to visit this festival of ours. It truly will be a wonderful experience.

We have our very famous national fruit which is the "DURIAN"
It is considered the king of all fruits. Some don't like what it smell and taste, but others love it.
They say, "It smells like hell, but tastes like heaven."
As for me, I like it a lot.
Another personal favorite is the fruit "Marang".
For me it's like an ice cream, especially when frozen.
And lots of other fruits like Mangosteen, Lanzones, etc.
Maybe you have the pleasure of travelling, you can always pay our country a visit.
Especially in the Month of August. :)
