Unless you missed the giant baby blimp, hundreds of thousands of protestors, or painful footage of Theresa May holding his hand, you will have noticed that President Trump has landed on our island.
He felt unwelcome, and with 77% of Brits having an unfavourable view of him, he quite clearly is.
It wasn’t only the level of protest that put Trump’s visit worlds apart from Obama’s. The first was the fact that Obama never snubbed the Queen twice within the first 15 minutes of meeting.
One thing both supporters and denigrators of Trump can agree on is that he has a huge ego. One of the biggest egos, he might tell you.
You’d just have imagined his ego wouldn’t stretch so far as to disrespect the Queen of England though. But that’s exactly what happened upon his meeting with probably the most respected woman on the planet.
