D.tube is an open-source and the first cryptocurrency-decentralized video platform built on the STEEM blockchain that allows users to watch and upload videos their favorite videos as well as advertisement while getting rewarded in the process. With good and qualitative videos, vloggers can get a dtube upvote as well as engage in a community of supportive members on discord

D.tube is an open source platform that allows users to watch and upload videos on the IPFS. Being a decentralized, d.tube is not able to censor videos as decentralization enables users to censor it through their upvotes and downvotes. It is a fair platform, there are no hidden algorithms controlling the visibility or monetization of certain videos over others. Ads are not allowed to run, taking away a possible source of discomfort to users, but, users can advertise their products and services directly in their videos
