Introduction

Hello everyone!
Welcome to my 36th translation for the Node.js project!
Today I continued the child_process.md file translation: new technical words and concepts but clean work without troubles!
Keep reading to check out more about this new translation report!
Enjoy!

Project Details

Node.js is a JavaScript runtime built on Chrome's V8 JavaScript engine. It uses a non-blocking event-driven I/O model, which makes it a lightweight and efficient framework. I believe in open source projects and I think it's essential to work on this great project because the package ecosystem of Node.js, called npm, is the largest ecosystem of open source libraries in the world.
Given its importance, its translation into many languages is almost due.
I'll use my skills to make an high quality translation and maybe to learn something more about Node.js world.

Translation Overview

This is my 36th translation for the Node.js project.
Today I continued the translation of the child_process.md file and it was easier than expected again, in fact I met new technical words but I got along very well.
Final amazing result: 1973 total words and 1200 clean words.
In this 36th part I finished the Synchronous Process Creation chapter translation and I started Class and Event chapters rich in many sub-items.
Currently this file is almost finished, it was beautiful and very interesting.

Words left in English

This is a list of words I considered to left in English in order to give a more understandable translation.
My choice is based both on the project owners guidelines and on the web research carried out by myself.

Difficult words/sentences to translate in Italian

In this report I have not met words or sentences which put me in serious difficulty or which I have not been able to translate properly. It was really simple this time.

What did I learn new?

  • Event - What is an Event and how it is represented in child_process.md: it is an action or occurrence recognized by software, often originating asynchronously from the external environment, that may be handled by the software. Because an event is an entity which encapsulates the action and the contextual variables triggering the action we can use the acrostic mnemonic of an event as an "Execution Variable Encapsulating Named Trigger" to clarify the concept.
    Source
  • Event Handler - What is an Event Handler and what is its role in child_process.md: it is a callback subroutine that handles inputs received in a program (called a listener in Java and JavaScript).
    Source
  • Parsing - What is a Parsing and how it works in child_process.md: it is the process of analysing a string of symbols, either in natural language, computer languages or data structures, conforming to the rules of a formal grammar. The term parsing comes from Latin pars (orationis), meaning part (of speech).
    Source
  • Process IDentifier - What is a Process IDentifier (or PID) and how it works with child processes: it is a number used by most operating system kernels—such as those of UNIX, macOS and Microsoft Windows—to uniquely identify an active process. This number may be used as a parameter in various function calls, allowing processes to be manipulated, such as adjusting the process's priority or killing it altogether.
