RE: The best vegan food in Oslo, Norway! Resturant reviews + A simple & fancy tofu stir-fry recipe.

in #vegan6 years ago

It looks like there are quite a few vegan options in Oslo. This is a great news! I wanted to visit it for so long and now I know I won't be starving. I was afraid that they would mostly be serving fish.

Loving hut is also in Prague and I loved the meals. They were very tasty and fresh. All the restaurants that you mentioned sound great. I will make sure to list them all when I go to Oslo.

Your review is very nicely written.

Oh, and I like your recipe too. Something like that is my go to meal when I'm out of inspiration and want to eat something quick and delicious.

Thank you for sharing and have a lovely weekend!

Hi, @delishtreats

As I mentioned we are overwhelmed seeing the amount of vegan options popping up in Oslo. I remember being vegan here a couple of years ago, having to travel to the neighbor country Sweden just to get vegan butter!

Now it seems like you can get pretty much anything here. I even saw a vegan fish and chips pop-up!

Mmmmm when you mention loving hut in Prague. I spent one day in Prague this summer, returning from a festival and back to Scandinavia. When we found this two story building with both a vegan cafeteria, a small vegan groceries shop and a loving hut on the second floor. We almost decided to stay in Prague for some days just to eat! Is it the same one you are referring to?

I'm glad that you liked our recipe! If you come to Oslo I'd be more than happy to recommend you some more places. 😊

The app Vegan Norway is really good btw http://www.vegannorway.com/

I think it's generally challenging to eat vegan in Europe. It's not that bad but also not super easy. I'm happy to hear that you see such a progress over the years.

Yes, it's this one! LOL! They have a couple of them in Prague but I was referring to exactly this one. I'm so glad that you liked it. Now you know where to go when you will be in Prague next time. Actually, there are quite a few vegan places there now. And the scene keeps growing which makes me happy.

Have a lovely weekend!

Haha, funny that it is the exact same one! I cant wait to go back and spend some days in Prauge just to try out new vegan food.

Two of us in the Ambrosia crew decided we should go on a trip to a city where we can get a lot of vegan inspiration. This time, we decided for Berlin. But next time, it might be Prague!

If you are struggling to find vegan food while traveling in europe, I reccomend checking out happy cow. I find it so great that I am in the middle of writing a steemit post about it. ;) happycow.net

Much love and light to you, @delishtreats! :) 🌱

You will love Berlin. I've been there recently and I struggled to choose a restaurant to go to. There are vegan places around each corner. It's soooo cool! Let me know how you'll like it.

I'm using happy cow already and also checking some blogs and reviews for inspiration :) I will check out your post!

Sending hugs to you! :)

Yes, I love Berlin! I have actually visited several times just to eat. So much vegan food! 😂😂

❤️

Hahaha, I'm the same! We went there just to eat :)
