8/8/17 3:23 PM EST: I will close out the other 50 shares here as teh VIX trades at 10.67. This position bought at 9.95 so it adds $36 more to my closed trades. Banked total now at $140.00. I'll be back!!!
8/10/17 update: VIX now at 15.30 and that's "close enuff" that I won't even have to watch it so I will short 50 shares here at 15.30. VIX chart on a 15 minute time delay.

8/11/17 update: Exiting this VIX short at $15.00...spot dead on, with a $15 gain. Banked gain now at $155.00
8/29/17 12:48 PM EST: 1 PM "sell hour" rapidly approaching plus the VIX already signaled a short term buy here at the 11.84 LOD, plus Greg Mannarino says he went long the Q's. Need Isay more? :-) I'll use my $155 profit to buy 6 VIX $12 calls that expire tomorrow at .25 ea. Cost of trade is $150.00.

8/30/17 update: Not sure what the final price was on these VIX calls as I wasn't tracking pricing that closely until UVXY hits my sub $30 target. I will log the trade as a complete loss, leaving my VIX trading account with a $5 gain.

8/17/17 update: The VIX signaled short term buy yesterday after trading to a low of 11.54, the previous low was 11.45 the day before. I still wouldn't trust a VIX rally right now so I'm glad I stepped aside from a new SPY trade. I still like the SPY short to 143.18 but now I would "prefer" to see the last high get taken out first.
The VIX near the 11.50 area the past 2 days...where I said it "might" turn. Did it? let's find out...just for fun.

9/1/17 update: I will leave a buy limit in place for 50 VIX at 9.50 limit for today.
9/7/17 1:48 PM: The queen of the sexy VIXens showig an even more bullish chart pattern. Now selling doown after an ADX buy signal and it doesn't get much more bullish than that. I'll keep my limit to buy 50 VIX open at 9.50. I'll be concentrating on a new Q's short once the Q's trade thru 146.00..as I "promised" it would. VIX now at 11.50...on a 10 to 15 minute chart delay.

9/13/17 EOD update: Limit to buy 50 VIX at 9.50 stays open, GTC.
9/20/17 10:54AM: The next selloff in the VIX is still to be bought as a longer term hold. But since VIX already traded to 9.83 and my buy signal wouldn't be generated until a selloff, unwind, and then another sell off occurs...I will cxl my limit buy at 9.50 and shoot for a lower numba.
VIX at 10.19 "live!" ..but the VIX chart is on an appx 10 to 15 minute delay.
