That is a rabit hole that involves who really controls most of the witnesses, and who wants to control the contents and the reward pool!

Am curious however, what is there to stop the same thing happening on POB?
They don't have the vast holdings of POB that would allow them to dominate as in Hive. But POB does still have downvoting, so someone like me can't earn author rewards on POB either because I have to have them turned off as I'm being attacked in Hive.
VYB on the other hand is seperate in that regard with no downvoting. So my posts are now being paid out in VYB while turned off in Hive and POB.
My hope is that if VYB ever comes under serious attack from the Hive insiders, a hard fork would be possible.
But this is all way over my head!
Appreciate the explanation my friend. And wow, you've really been through it! I for one am very grateful to have you around here and really cannot understand why something is not being done by the witnesses to resolve your current situation. I mean what the hell are we all here for if not to be treated fairly?
