Over time I've seen over 500k of hp be powered down across accounts that got downvoted.

Why be soft?
Why be soft? - because living in NZ is stressful enough right now and blogging can be fun. And because some of the most unpleasant people I've ever met online are whales on Hive. They can have their little dictatorship, I'm on the first boat out!
But they did me a big favour - I bought all that Hive for 15 cents average, so bailing out was fun. And with the way they are trashing the platform, I certainly wouldn't be buying it for $1.50!
Blogging should be fun and a blockchain block should support freedom of speech.
I'm glad you made some money on the way out. I've seen the opposite happen where people bought Hive at more than a dollar and bailed out at the low. Sad story.
