Wagerr Analysis ($WGR)

The following is not financial advice.

Welcome to back The Scoop!

This is the next post at a place where we share analysis and opinions for interesting coins, tokens and pure gems in the vast landscape of the blockchain world. There's so many coins out there, but not a lot of free information (looking at you, paid groups) and analysis on them. The Scoop aims to change that by sharing and improving the data available for a given coin by focusing on evaluating instead of predicting.

What is Wagerr?

It's a decentralized sportsbook! Fees are lower, Oracle Masternodes ensure predictable payouts and ASSCs (Application Specific Smart Contracts) are utilized to make sure it all happens quickly and reliably. The more bets that take place, the more tokens that are burned. Quite the business model!

Check out the video:

Where's the wallet?

You may keep WGR tokens in your Waves wallet along with other assets.

Great whitepaper:
https://wagerr.com/wagerr_whitepaper_v1.pdf

How many of them are they?

CMC says 183m circulating with a total supply of ~198m.

However, a small percentage of tokens (betting fees) are destroyed each bet, creating a sort of deflationary model if mass adoption is successful.

Who's the team?

Solid from top to bottom: CEO (active member of Darcrus project), ops, developers to administrator and advisors.

What motivates them?

8% pre-allocation of ICO coins for the team. Also, 2% of all betting fees will go into a fund controlled by the Oracle Masternode network to ensure rewards are available for future development.

Marketcap and Competitors?

~89m with ~2m volume.

Similar projects or target industry...

  • Edgeless ($EDG) -> ~172m
  • Decent.Bet ($DBET) -> ~31m
  • Footy Cash ($XFT) -> ~6m

How is Wagerr different?

They are doing all the little things right. Started small, progress on roadmap and the product keeps getting closer and closer to real life. The product makes sense and one can see they spent time pushing for long term success.

Pros

  • solid team
  • practical roadmap
  • progression
  • sound business plan
  • cool factor

Cons

  • competition
  • need better exchanges

Any constructive criticism?

Team must get Wagerr on a large exchange to further capitalize on the great progress on the project. Folks want to buy solid projects, but they need an on-ramp. Also, marketing-- let's have more of it.

Where is it traded?

For something to bring in ~2m volume on Waves DEX, that's something. Imagine when it hits a larger exchange...

The Final

Based on the FA, WGR looks like a low to medium risk with high reward potential if they continue to deliver and expand to exchanges for more volume. Picking it up under 4k sats would be bargain or around a dollar would be an upper entry while still expecting solid, crypto-style gains.

And that's your scoop!
