🧂 1 teaspoon black pepper
🌶️ 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
🍶 1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
🧀 2 to 3 cups cheddar cheese, to taste
🥄 2 tablespoons vegetable oil (for sautéing and frying)
Instructions
1- Prep the Vegetables:
- Begin by chopping all your vegetables—mushrooms, onion, garlic, red bell pepper, and green bell pepper.
2- Sauté the Vegetables:
- In a large pot or skillet, heat 2 tablespoons of oil over medium-high heat.
- Once hot, add the chopped onion and garlic, sautéing for about 2 minutes.
- Add the chopped red and green bell peppers and mushrooms, and continue to cook for another 4-5 minutes until the vegetables are softened.
- Remove the vegetables from the pot and set aside.
3- Cook the Ground Beef:
- In the same pot, add the ground beef, breaking it apart with a spatula as it cooks.
- Brown the beef for around 10 minutes, ensuring it is fully cooked through.
4- Combine and Season:
- Once the beef is browned, return the sautéed vegetables to the pot.
- Add the chicken bouillon, smoked paprika, cumin, black pepper, cayenne pepper, and Worcestershire sauce.
- Mix all ingredients thoroughly until well combined.
- Turn off the heat.
5- Add the Cheese:
- Stir in the cheddar cheese to the beef and vegetable mixture until it is fully melted.
- Allow the mixture to cool completely before proceeding to the next step.
6- Roll the Egg Rolls:
- Place an egg roll wrapper on a flat surface.
- Add the cooled filling in the center of the wrapper.
- Moisten the edges with water, fold in the sides, and roll tightly to secure the roll.
- Repeat this process until all wrappers and filling are used.
7- Fry the Egg Rolls:
- In a large frying pan, heat oil over medium to high heat.
- Once the oil is hot, carefully add the egg rolls.
- Fry them until golden brown on all sides.
- Remove from oil and allow them to drain on a paper towel.
8- Serve:
- Enjoy your mouthwatering beef and vegetable egg rolls with your choice of dipping sauce.
