Mistic bonds between Odessa and its citizens.
As usual for my age, the story goes back to 1985, when I met 87 y.o. woman.
Remarkable Jewish Woman!
She was born in Odessa.
She was fond of Odessa!
She was in love with Odessa!
I could listen her Odessa stories endlessly...
But she planned to leave Odessa and join her relatives in USA.
I asked her: " WHY !?!"
Her answer was:
" All my friends of youth either died or far away.
All my relatives in USA now.
But without people who are dear to your heart the city is just the stones! Memorial..."
Suddenly I got very simple and very wise understanding:
The Citizens make Odessa being so unic! They are the unic value of Odessa!
As well as of any other place!
This is the reason in all my posts I state:
Defend Odessa - Save People - Save Ukraine !
Meantime, we have very positive and optimistic changes:

My grandfather lives in Odessa.
But I never went there.
I hope when the war is over I can still get to this beautiful city.
