- 🍋 Juice of 1 Lemon
For the Pasta: - 🍝 135g Fettuccine Pasta (boiled in salty water)
- 🥛 135g Milk Cream
- 🥛 270g Milk
- 🥄 2 tbsp Cooking Oil
- 🧈 10g Butter
- 🧄 1 clove Minced Garlic
- 🌶️ 1/2 Capsicum
- 🌶️ 1 Spicy Red Chili
- 🧂 1 tsp Chicken Powder
- 🌿 1/4 tsp White Pepper
- 🌿 1/4 tsp Oregano
Instructions:
Preparing the Chicken:
- Slice the chicken breast into two even pieces, aiming for steaks weighing approximately 100 to 120 grams.
- Trim any uneven thickness from the chicken steaks to ensure they cook evenly.
- Use a meat hammer or rolling pin to flatten the steaks gently, focusing on thicker areas, which also tenderizes the meat.
- In a bowl, combine mustard paste, Worcestershire sauce, cooking oil, salt, black and white pepper, garlic, and lemon juice to make the marinade.
- Coat the chicken thoroughly in the marinade and set aside for 20 minutes in the refrigerator.
Preparing the Pasta: - Boil the fettuccine pasta in salted water until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a pan, heat cooking oil and butter. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
- Add chopped capsicum and spicy red chili. Sauté for a few minutes until softened.
- Pour in the milk and milk cream, stirring well.
- Season with chicken powder, white pepper, and oregano. Let it simmer on low heat until the sauce thickens.
