Ingredients:
For the Chicken Marination:

  • 🍯 1/2 tsp Mustard Paste
  • 🍶 1 tsp Worcestershire Sauce
  • 🥄 1 tbsp Cooking Oil
  • 🧂 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 🌶️ 2 pinches Black Pepper
  • 🌿 1/4 tsp White Pepper
  • 🧄 1 clove Minced Garlic
  • 🍋 Juice of 1 Lemon
    For the Pasta:
  • 🍝 135g Fettuccine Pasta (boiled in salty water)
  • 🥛 135g Milk Cream
  • 🥛 270g Milk
  • 🥄 2 tbsp Cooking Oil
  • 🧈 10g Butter
  • 🧄 1 clove Minced Garlic
  • 🌶️ 1/2 Capsicum
  • 🌶️ 1 Spicy Red Chili
  • 🧂 1 tsp Chicken Powder
  • 🌿 1/4 tsp White Pepper
  • 🌿 1/4 tsp Oregano
    Instructions:
    Preparing the Chicken:
  1. Slice the chicken breast into two even pieces, aiming for steaks weighing approximately 100 to 120 grams.
  2. Trim any uneven thickness from the chicken steaks to ensure they cook evenly.
  3. Use a meat hammer or rolling pin to flatten the steaks gently, focusing on thicker areas, which also tenderizes the meat.
  4. In a bowl, combine mustard paste, Worcestershire sauce, cooking oil, salt, black and white pepper, garlic, and lemon juice to make the marinade.
  5. Coat the chicken thoroughly in the marinade and set aside for 20 minutes in the refrigerator.
    Preparing the Pasta:
  6. Boil the fettuccine pasta in salted water until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  7. In a pan, heat cooking oil and butter. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
  8. Add chopped capsicum and spicy red chili. Sauté for a few minutes until softened.
  9. Pour in the milk and milk cream, stirring well.
  10. Season with chicken powder, white pepper, and oregano. Let it simmer on low heat until the sauce thickens.
  11. Toss the cooked pasta in the creamy sauce ensuring it is well-coated.
    Cooking the Chicken:
  12. Heat a pan over medium heat and add a little oil.
  13. Cook the marinated chicken steaks for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until fully cooked and golden brown.
  14. Allow to rest for a couple of minutes before serving.
