Hi my dear friends!
History and stories... History for the country and the stories about specific people and animals. War is generous to them. They may be happy, but more often they are not.

When the war began, my friends could not come to me. They were only 20 kilometers away, they were bullies, but the bridges were blown up and the road was shelled. So I was left completely alone with my animals. Of course, there were other people around, but among them there was not a single person who was familiar with my dogs. This meant that if something happened to me, my animals would be locked in the house and no one could help them.
I was afraid of this. This fear forced me to be very attentive and careful. I hardly left the house. My fears were not in vain.

Above you see a drawing, and below - a photograph, based on which it was made. The author is not me. But I don't know if you know this story and I want to tell it to you.

The war brought many troubles. Among them - locked animals. Locked in houses and apartments, often without food and water. It wasn't because people abandoned them. Often they did not have the physical opportunity to return home, because in the early days of the war the occupation took place very quickly. Or have they already been killed...

This is how a kitten, a rat and a parrot found themselves locked up in one of the apartments. They waited for their people for a long time... But no one could come to their aid. The rat and the parrot were in cages, so they didn't have much choice. But the kitten... The kitten saw life throwing at his friends... Probably, at some point he realized that help would not come. Nobody will return. Then he lay down in the crib, where the baby of his masters was sleeping. Probably, it still kept the remnants of the smell of the baby, so familiar and soothing. The kitten inhaled for the last time this familiar smell, closed his eyes and quietly died.

I would like to spare your feelings and not write about it. I would like to spare my own feelings and not write about it. I would like to continue posting photos of my animals and my garden. But it will be a betrayal. Therefore, I must say about another huge tragedy - the municipal watering for animals in Borodyanka. The Russian occupiers did not let people in there. More than thirty days... For more than thirty days, the animals slowly died of hunger and thirst. We were very close. Only 20 minutes by car. But we couldn't do anything. And we knew all this howl. Not a day went by that our hearts were not broken by this knowledge.

When Borodyanka was freed from Russian invaders, more than 300 dogs were dead... Those who survived were in a terrible state. Now they are evacuated and receive veterinary care.

Example of photo is here. I don't want to download it so as not to injure you.

These non-humans - the Russian military, did not have to let us open the cages. Just let us open the cages! But the bottom line is that they can't be called human...

The stable near Bucha where my daughter and I rode was destroyed by the Russians. Some of the horses were killed, we are now looking for the rest.
