D Gukesh, an Indian Chess Grand Master, became the youngest player (17) to win the Candidates tournament and will fight in the World Championship match later this year. I watch this historic moment live tonight.
Funny thing was he finished his last game at draw and if the match between Neop and Caruana was a decisive game he had to play a tie-breaker today but both of those players played so well (was very exciting, full of ups and downs) but it was a draw making Gukesh the sole leader and winner of the tournament.

Celebrated Earth Day by planting these 12 yellow willow trees in the woods. They had rooted well in a vase and hopefully will grow well.
Willows can grow quite large. They do well along waterways.

Funny thing was he finished his last game at draw and if the match between Neop and Caruana was a decisive game he had to play a tie-breaker today but both of those players played so well (was very exciting, full of ups and downs) but it was a draw making Gukesh the sole leader and winner of the tournament.
