Yuan is his name. I named him after a vampire in the stories I wrote in college, hee hee hee. The vampire I got the name from an ancient Chinese dynasty.
A cat I had who crossed the bridge several years ago was also named after one of those vampires, Deidre. Yuan and Deidre were the two oldest vampires in my stories, so I always said since I had already named one cat Deidre, if I got another boy cat I'd name him Yuan. 😄

I do, yeah, but not about vampires. :) I published a novel several years ago (link in my bio), but currently I've written short stories and such since.
