So glad to hear of your friend's entrepreneurial spirit...

Much needed these days! And I strongly identify with "bleeding on the page." Writing is such a personal experience, and I find it so necessary to do--even for the sake of "thinking." When I merely "think," those thoughts seem to just rattle around in the skull cage in a chaotic manner. But putting them into writing forces me to organize and inspect them more closely...

Of course, because it's all so personal, the feedback (or lack thereof!) can at times be rather painful, though (if you find the right jewel of a reader) sometimes tremendously encouraging.
