We could start a new Amish-like project, but instead of living in 1799 forever, we live in 1999 forever! No smart phones :D

I would LOVE that

Getting it started is another matter. I don't know who is up for organizing that kind of thing. Maybe several small communities, to keep things small. We need somewhere to go, too. Maybe a national park will have to be seized for the people's use? Heh.

I tried to do this once - I have property in Southern Colorado - but it didn't work out - didn't get enough people at one time together https://all-are-welcome.weebly.com/ plus my property is not the greatest - just cheap...and there is an aquafir and a thermal aquafir...but it's hard there and the economy sucks and there are no trees... there is a place out there like that - https://earthart.org/pages/hom and there are many more communities elsewhere that hare already going that one can join... https://www.ic.org/directory/
