It is no longer news that Coronavirus is a global pandemic and every country is fighting against the spread and I have seen countries around the world put down measure on ways to curb it and make life easy for its citizens.

Early this month, I watched when Canadian Prime Minister offered its citizens $2000 to sit at down and listed the numbers of people who are entitled to it including the unemployed. And also in America, saw on news they have been given $1,200 to its citizens.

Down here in my country, the story is different. Despite our wealth and numerous mineral resources the citizens continue to suffer why the 5% enjoys it all. The 95% are the poor masses on each 36 states in Nigeria whom the effect of the Coronavirus has affected greatly, most of which rely on their daily job and hustle to survive. Some are Bike riders, taxi drivers, marketers, traders, tailors etc who are now sitting in their houses for the last one month and no money has been sent to them. Those who were lucky to receive palliatives got so little that will not last them a day before they go hungry again.

Due to the negligence of the government of Nigeria, the Northern has resulted to stealing and looting of van, vehicles and trucks seen carrying food materials. This was even reported on CNN.

Who do the poor masses run to when the government are not helping them. Nigeria might be the next epicenter of Coronavirus since things are not well be managed.
