In this video, I will be showing you the proper breathing techniques that are the foundation of yoga.
You would think that since breathing is so natural to just being alive that we would all perfectly perform this everyday function without thinking twice. However, in our fast paced society, most people are actually breathing the completely wrong way. Weird, right?
The respiratory system is the only system in the body that is both automatic and voluntary. Yoga teaches us that the breath is the foundation of your practice and is called pranayama, your life force, chi, energy. Take this moment to take a deep breath and feel the effects.

What kind of tips do you have for beginners. I can't touch my toes. In fact, I can touch about half way down my shin. I'm not flexible at all.
There really is not to much to flexabity except to stretch everyday for improvement. If done consistently you'll be able to touch your toes in no time @msutyler ! Just stick with it!!
