RE: Zeitgeist

in #zeitgeist8 years ago

The issue is not so much the statues coming down but how they come down. They didn't come down because of a societal debate, they came down because of leftist violence. Leftist judging by their behaviour believe that violence belongs in politics. The south that did slavery was run by Democratic aka Leftist Governours, Senates and Officials. They invented the confederate flag, the race laws against black people etc.
Today they managed to pull off some kind of image polishing where people forget their past deeds. They are riding the backs of black people, women, lgbt and latinos to get votes and to get into power. They don't truly care about them if they did they would have improved their quality of life in those places they control. The 2 party system is a corrupt system. A nation with hubdreds of millions of people should be able to easily produce 6 or more viable parties. That would result in real change. But those in power do not want it and the media is complicit. Just look at the unfair actiins of the media during every US electiin where candidates feom alternative parties get virtually no coverage at all. And the focus of debates is only on Democratic and Republic debates. Everything else is treated like dirt at the bottom of the barrel.

So true. Your point about the way the statues are coming down is spot on.

That is a good example. The violence or Zeitgeist is spot on

Leftist violence. I hear that.

Riding their backs. Yes I have heard that as well and agree. I think the technical term is "hoodwinked."

The 2-party system is well-entrenched.

Perhaps, the solution will be to avoid, not argue for change but implement it anyway, as digital currency seems to be dealing with banks. We dont argue with banks, we reinvent them out of the problem THEY CREATED FOR THEMSELVES.

Can political parties 2, 3, 4, 5, or 6 political parties be organized and kept honest or trustworthy using a Blockchain? I hope some steemian evaluates that .

In response the your last question: Do we really need to delegate our opinions and responsibilities to other parties to vote on the blockchain for decision that effect us. I don't think a partied system is a long term good idea. The way out of using government is to replace government systems with decentralized systems that have a 10x improvement.

We should be less worried on how to fix government and more worried about how to replace them with decentralized software in which everyone has a say.

You do make sense!

THANK YOU!

I agree. Very well said @stadex.
